Bubble and Squeak
Someone stopped by my vet's house on Sunday night and said that they found two tiny kittens on the road. My vet, being a nice person, took the poor things in. They were covered in fleas and were a little underweight. But... They were very friendly, and not frightened at all. The vet thinks they never have been feral. She called me first thing Monday morning to ask if I knew anyone looking for kitties. And, amazingly, I did. The girl who adopted Cree fell in love with their picture on FaceBook. Her mom picked them up from me this afternoon as a surprise for her daughter. Bubble and Squeak looked so happy as they rolled out of the driveway.

That is wonderful. They hit the jack pot for sure. How is Cree and her little girl doing?

Cree had an abscess last week, but the farrier came and fixed that. He's fine now and recovering. He is happily carrying his little girl around again.
The babies are settling right in. They are eating like kittens, and will be able to go get their baby shots soon. The vet wanted them to gain a little weight before that.

Our suspicion is that the woman who dropped them off at the vet's is the one who bred them. She probably has an unfixed cat she lets wander and didn't know what to do with this batch of kittens. They were far too tame to be feral babies. They loved being held and petted right away.
They are doing really well and their new family loves them. They got to keep their names.
