How's the weather?

Still cool and wonderful here. I think that heat is coming here next week, but I'm enjoying the great weather until then. It's about time to go play in the garden.

It's dropped ten degrees here for a few days. I think it's supposed to go back up to the century mark again though.

Another great day. I'm thankful for each one. It's August. I wonder if we'll end up paying dearly.

It's barely below the century mark here with a rumor of rain later in the week.

August is coming back. We closed up the house tonight because it's supposed to be hot tomorrow. Today wasn't bad. But, it was warming up as the day went.

A tad cooler after our severe thunderstorm that went on nearly all night. We have a huge storm coming our way and there's no way it will miss us. Covering over half of Iowa as I type this. 76 right now with 68% humidity, so not too bad compared to the past several days.

I will most likely get rained on at work all day long tomorrow. Hope our farmers are happy now.

Muggy and thundery. Typical August.

Supposed drop into the high 80's Thursday or Friday.

Horrible storms all night long with drastic dropping temps....we have some flooding here and there. It came down so hard and so fast some major streets were flooding in Rockford because the storm drains couldn't handle it all that fast. Very humid this morning but much cooler. We'll be lucky to break 70 today. It's windy too so that should dry up some of the mud.

Some place in Western Iowa noted that with the wind it was 44. Little to cold for me.

Brrr! In August.

It was very nice here today. Humid in the morning, and then breezy and wonderful in the afternoon. I've heard rumors of storms later, but it's nice right now.

It's nice here too. I've got the storm door open.

August-y. Humid and warm. Not too hot to keep me from doing things outside though.Thundering now because a cold front is coming through for the weekend.

Summer is back.

One more nice day. It's supposed to heat up tomorrow.

This morning was nice but it's now back to the oven.

Cool in the morning but warming up a lot in the afternoon. The days of "pants and heavy jacket in the am, shorts and tshirt in the pm" are here...and early too.

Still hot.

Wonderful. I think autumn is coming. I see color in the leaves already. I hope the hurricane stays away. It can just turn back out to sea, thank you very much.

It's bloody hot again.

It was hot here too, but they promise cooler weather for the long weekend. I'm ready for a nice, long weekend.

Hot during the day but not too bad at night.

It's still pretty warm today, but things are changing. There's wind off the ocean, and you can tell pressure's dropping. Storms aren't supposed to be bad, and they are supposed to bring cooler weather. We'll see. I just hope the rain holds off for cookouts.
