I hope the vet can help her feel better.
I didn't plant the 'nip, it planted itself in the pots last fall. Plants are still quite small, too small to harvest any yet.

Now she says she may not go because she doesn't want to spread this around. What's a cat to do? Tonio

Tell her that the vet is where she needs to go if she feels bad. Spreading things around is the least of her worries there. My meowmy's vet has masks and cleaner so peoples can keep their germs to themselves.

I've told her that. Right now she is spending a lot of time sleeping which is good. Tonio

Meowmy seems to be fully mended. She went out tonight for a while to watch fireworks. I stayed home in my safe spot, she left the t.v. on to help block out any scary noises. Tonio

That's great. Maybe she had what my meowmy had. It was nasty but went away pretty fast. That is good since kitty duty calls no matter what.

My meowmy leaves the radio on. Our neighbors have not been making scary noises this time, so maybe we will be safe. The radio will be on anyway.

Mine will leave the radio on along with the t.v. just to make sure.  So far it's been quiet.

Meowmy went to the people vet. The stole some of her blood and pee. How rude is that?!? She was given some meds to help get rid of the last of her URI. She slept a lot this afternoon and I snugged with her. Tonio

Oh no! A URI is no fun. I had one when I was a kitten. I felt terrible. My eyes were leaky. I am glad your meowmy went to the vet and they can make her feel better. She will sleep a lot, and if you snug her, she will feel better quicker.

I haven't had one since I've come to live with Meowmy. I can't remember my old life. She slept a lot today and I snugged with her. You're right there is nothing like healing purrs and cuddles to help with the healing. She ate a good dinner tonight. Tonio

Today we are having an excessive heat wave. Meowmy is making sure that all have fresh water. Tonio

GASP!! I've been informed that I have to go to kitty camp tomorrow. I hate kitty camp and Meowmy is enraged over it all. It's because we have bed bugs. We have to be out of the house all day and I may have to stay overnight. I'm scared what if I'm left there. Tonio

Just an update. This bed bug project is going to be an all day sucker, so Antonio will have to spend the night.

Visited Antonio tonight. Took him up his food so they wouldn't have to open a bag. He's in a cage and still in his crate. He turned to face me, he was growling and unhappy but seemed to be interested in his food.

Oh no! Poor guy and poor you! Did you have to sleep elsewhere too?

Tonio, your meowmy only did that so you can stay healthy. Bed bugs are yucky and it is better to make them go away.

Yes, I slept in the guest house we have. I slept on the couch downstairs so I wouldn't have to strip and make the bed today. Like I needed more laundry to do. Finally got the last load out of the dryer a little over an hour ago. He did have a blanket that Tia Jeane made for him along with an old t-shirt.

The techs told me he ate and drank bit but stayed in his crate.

I have some Tia Jeane blankets on the living room chair. The kitties like to lie on them while they look at the bird feeders outside the window.

I have a small crate mat on the couch and a larger baby blanket on the Giant Bed. I made a small bed using Contessa's old crate mat then wrapping the blanket around it. He sleeps there at night.

How are things going now?

It's calmed down finally. I was so sick of doing laundry by Friday night I could have screamed. Antonio has finally settled down, it took him a two days.

Such an ordeal, especially for any pet.
