R.I.P. Sweet Moxie
I was just told by mom that sweet Moxie, my sis' 16 year old cat, is gone. I haven't been allowed to see her in a little over a year. Same age as Bijoux. Sis sent mom a text message.
No details on how or why but I have my suspicions. She had a mammary lump 2 years ago that I don't think was ever seen by the vet.

Oh no. Rest easy, sweet Moxie. Hugs to you and your mom.

Not sure her mom needs hugs, she ignored Moxie a lot. No vet visits either when they were needed. Moxie deserved better.
I still don't know why my sis bothered to tell us. Hoping to put me in a stroke, knowing how much I loved Moxie?

YOUR mom... If Moxie's mom was bad to her, I turn my back on her.

Re: R.I.P. Sweet Moxie
She didn't take her to the vet the past few years since she missed the deadline to renew the shots and licensing and didn't want to pay the fines. She treated the tumor herself using some of that freeze off the wart stuff from the pharmacy (and it seemed to work). But at the end she did the right thing and took Moxie to two different vets. First one wanted to put her down immediately. Then she took her to her old vet, who knew Moxie well. When he said nothing could be done he eased her way across the bridge.
Moxie had a massive devastating stroke there was absolutely NO way of coming back from. She knew nothing at the end except that she was being held close as she passed from this world to the next.

She also had kidney failure before the stroke and was fully aware she had no control over her body. Visibly upset when she peed/poo'd where she shouldn't.....poor Moxie.
My sis was a bitch to me yesterday when I actually went over there to give her my condolences. Couldn't let one day go by without tearing me down to build herself up.

I know, I'm done reaching out to her in the hopes of a better relationship.
Becky, can I consider you my adopted sister?

Sure, although you might want to talk to my real sisters first. They might tell you some stories.

Ah, but we have so much in common. The stories I could tell you about my ex-sis would have you wanting to snatch her bald and run as far and as fast away from her as you possibly can on a horse!
