Well despite the smoking sounds like he had a great time. As for the mozzie's well the season is almost over.

Bone day! Today was a new beef bone and back yard time. He's been outside all day chewing on that thing. It's funny how much something so small means to him.

Poor dog has yucky ear. The tree leaves are turning and falling, which sets off his ears. I don't know if giving shots more frequently would help or if I should just go for the Prednisone if it gets too bad. Right now, we're surviving with cleanings and the usual allergy treatments.

Poor guy, I've had dogs that have had itchy ears and it's no fun.

He was better today. It rained in the morning, and I guess it kept the leaf dust down.

It could also be that mold that grows in wet fallen leaves.....that sets off my allergies bigtime. Hope our guy feels better soon, allergies are NO fun!

He seems better today. The weather turned to crisp, windy autumn, so he spent most of the day running around in the yard. Happy dog!

Glad to hear that! Nothing quite like the sight (and sounds) of a happy dog running himself silly in the yard.

Still a happy dog. He turned himself inside out when we got home last night. It was so cute. He ran all over the yard, and kept coming back to wag and bump into us. He's really sleepy today. I think he didn't sleep too well even though he had his buddy, Mateo, here with him.

Maybe that's why......remember how much sleep you got during sleepovers?

Sleep? What's that? LOL
Bingo's been playing like crazy with the cooler weather. Then, at night, he sleeps really soundly.

Yesh, a day of hard playing makes for a very sleepy tired doggie at night.

Re: Bingo found a home
I got evidence of bad doggie today. My husband sent a picture of two banana stumps. Some dog had gone up on the counter and swiped the old, spotty bananas. I think he prefers having someone at home. He will get gated out of the kitchen tomorrow.

I have a feeling he might regret eating those two bananas....that's a lot of fruit for one pup. It will literally all come out in the end.

Re: Bingo found a home
Funnily enough, they didn't upset anything except my nose. He got gas, but everything else was normal. I think he might have a bit of separation anxiety since he's gotten used to having me at home all the time. Need to figure that out. I bought some calming herbs to put on his food to see if that helps.
I will be going into the office (90 miles away!) 2 days each week for a while. I hope that ends soon, but they seem to think I'll just pack up and move. They need to sweeten the pot a LOT to get that.

Ah, you just reminded me of that poem I wrote so long ago....do you remember it? Not sure whose pup inspired me to write it but it did have something to do with bad gas, and ended with an open window car ride.
I doubt they'd be able to sweeten the pot enough for me to move from that lil farm of yours.

Re: Bingo found a home
And I found it buried but saved in my email. Enjoy!
WIND 8-5-05
My dog ate some bananas,
some eggs, and breath mints.
Now it's beginning to get windy
and he doesn't understand hints.
I've tried not to notice
or make a lot of fuss.
But it's getting so bad in here
and I'm not a wuss.
So outside we now go
until the wind dies down a bit.
We'll play a while, working it out
and then we'll go sit.
Now it's several hours later
and we go back inside.
If he starts getting windy again
we'll go for an open-windows car ride.

And today he ate some hand cream! Fortunately, it was from The Body Shop, and is made of all food-quality natural ingredients. No ill effects yet, but GEEZ! There was no reason for that besides just bad behavior. Silly mutt.

This is why pet owners and I'm talking cat, dog and horse drink. I'm serious.
