Isn't that what the leash is for.....so he can lead you around so you don't get lost?

I had to go get his itch pills and some flea pills today. $153! He has his Soresto collar, but the fleas are celebrating August, so I give him a pill just to help with the few that decided to move in.

GK and Mouski will get their pills today. I've only seen one live one on Mouski, but GK seems to be itchy. Might as well catch it before the bugs decide to be a problem. I wonder if I should change when I buy collars. They last about 6 months, but they do become a little less effective as they age. Maybe i should get new ones in late summer. That way, they would be getting weaker in mid winter.

Sounds like a good idea. It's time for Antonio's drops.

Or maybe invest in those collars 3 times a year so they never get too weak to do the job.

That's possible. Since we're pretty bug free in the winter, I don't know that I'd be spending money for nothing between October and April.

Re: Bingo found a home
It comes with awful damp cold though. I'm not sure it's worth the price.
Today was damp and chilly, and tonight it's chilly rain. Bingo is all excited about something and kind of sad that I won't let him go outside. He will have to go out soon enough for a pre-bed pee break, but it's just too cold and wet to play outside.

Downright chilly here today, windy too. Needed to dig out a jacket and was still cold walking down to the library. Nearly froze resting on a bench about halfway there.

It was a bit warm here today, but not too bad. Supposed to be getting storms tonight and tomorrow, and then the chilly weather comes here. Bingo needs a bath, so we're hoping it doesn't get too chilly. He can have a back yard bath if it's warm.

Glad you have some warmth....it never did warm up here. In fact, it's colder today than yesterday.

No real back yard bath today. It poured rain all afternoon, so he got rinsed.

Cool in the mornings, warmer in the afternoon. True fall weather, we had fog this morning, geese in the yard, leaves falling and changing color.

Our leaves are changing, and it's been weirdly cool since the beginning of August. It's really early for so much color here. I heard that we're in for a cool fall and cold winter. Yikes! Bingo says he's happy for cooler weather if only the mosquitoes would settle down.

Re: Bingo found a home
I've had the windows open since the 2nd week of August. It's really strange.
Bingo likes having the windows open, but it makes him restless at night. Every hour or so, he goes to a different window to snooze. He crashes during the day.

Bingo got to play with his friends, William and Monet, who live down the street. We walked to my friend's house, and the three pups got to play in the fantastic run she has set up in her yard. We got to enjoy the beautiful garden and the silly dogs, who seemed to run themselves silly. Bingo slept for the rest of the day since he still had to walk the mile back home.

Re: Bingo found a home
Yesterday was big adventure day too. After his bath, Bingo got to visit his Auntie Nancy. He had to stay outside because she smokes, and he is allergic. But he had a good time in her most excellent back yard, and got extra treats for being a good doggie. We got home really late, and he didn't want to go for a walk today. Just as well... I went by myself and lost a gallon of blood to the mosquitoes.
