I hope you all had a nice Christmas and wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! I think about u guys and hope all is well.
my Dad passed, I had surgery and life goes on in its twisted paths. I am going to try and make 2011 MY turn around year cause I have had enough since I moved to NC.
Anywho just breezing thru!!!!!!

Happy New Year and I hope it well be a much better year for Pugsley. He has been the most expensive cat my parents ever have taken care of. He has been through enough as it is.

Thank you Suzzzz, He is with me all the time I feel it. I got a tattoo in his honor but Im ok cause I know he is OK now and is not sitting in that wretched home anymore. Now we are dealing with mom and some issues but I hope she is ok for awhile more.

Today is Brads' birthday, so we're throwing him a surprise party. Since his family hasn't done a thing for his birthday in at least 5 years now at least he won't have to spend it alone. We'll make sure he has a good day.

so what is everyone doing tonight?
i have sparkling cider, chips(have to mix up that onion dip!),some cheese and some ham lunch meat for midnight....right now as i'm on the computer i'm doing laundry. i was raised that you didn't go into the new year with dirty clothes or dirty dishes!
and tomorrow i have a can of mixed greens (so much easier than cleaning and chopping your own..and the stores i can get to don't even sell stuff like collard or mustard greens!)to eat;)

I hear ya Fisshy...many many of us will be happy to say goodbye to this year. Here's to hope and new beginnings!

Today we ate blackeye peas and rice (hoppin john)-- I don't like collards so I guess we won't be rich again! Have a great year all you lovely fur people and your friends! Pups

i forgot i had the can of greens until i was getting ready for bed...too later to eat them then! so i'll wait until i have a day off this week and heat them up. i need all the help i can get in the money dept!

That's certainly something to be thankful for!

I hope the good outweighs the bad this year: heard on the radio today that the state is raising our income taxes by 33% or more so I guess I'll have to readjust my withholding again. Otherwise I'll end up owing when I don't have any money to pay it with next spring. I'm hoping that tax increase is the ONLY bad thing that happens this year.
