Well, I understood the first sentence of that post.

Hatchette is the publisher (do they own Little Brown?) for latest kid's book, The Monster's Monster.....

Not listed on the autographing schedule....hmmmm

My bad, I'm not keeping up. Went and looked; Patrick's new book looks great, signed or not. Wish I had some kids in my life I could give it to!

there's a new Mutts collection due out soon too, I think, lol! my brain doesn't always work....

I went back and saw there was nothing on the site about when he would be autographing. I just assumed that it would be on the Sunday on Childrens day, as he has done autographing then before.
I saw that he was marked as a literary guest and when you clicked on him it said something about the new Hatchette/Little Brown book the Monster's Monster.
However I did see that on Friday at 6PM there will be a panel on the Unbound Stage called Hatchette author spotlight so maybe he will be there.

If you type his name in the search engine, he is doing a panel....

I just typed in his name and it just lists him as a special guest and mentions Monster's Monster. doesn't say anything about a panel but under the special guest with his picture it does say appearing Sunday. However the Hatchette panels (which says featuring one of our favortie writers- cc's words) is on Friday

hmmmm.... that sounds like he will be focusing on the Mutts aspect. I still wonder whether he will be doing a signing at Little Brown. The picture and blurb from the special guest listing are from hatchette's website.

There are a fair amount of comic strip artists there this year....Brooke McEldowney (9 Chickweed Lane) is one that caught my eye!!! (Other than Patrick, of course, lol) Mark Tatulli and Bill Amend...and more!!!

on Sunday at 12 to 1PM the people from the Action Packed comics to grow on Panel will be doing a signing at autograph tables 2,3 and 4 . 1 line for all the guests starting at table 2. gusts will sign only 1 item per person. It does not say whether
the guests will supply their items or if they are free.

Cool, I'll have to mark that down on my planner!

do you know if the Toonseum will have a booth this year? I did not see it in the exhibitors list. I still remember a few years ago when the guy from the booth chased me down the aisle to catch up with me because I was wearing a Mutts shirt and he wanted to tell me Patrick was going to be at the booth

Well I went to both the panel and the autographing.
Patrick was joined by several other authors and the panel was discussing how comics and cartoons are turned in to books for kids.
The people had to pay for all the books they wanted signed, but most of the authors would sign more than one book.
I mainly went for Patrick, of course but couldn't hve him sign the books I had brought because they were in my lost luggage (which was recovered later0 but I did have my Mutts Little Big Book in my bag so he signed that and also the cardboard Monster mask they were giving away at the hachette booth. The person who was sitting next to him is the one who does all those marvelous pop up books. they were giving out a sample advance star warsbook which he signed for me. He is a big star wars toy collector and jeane offered to be on the lookout for stuff for him where she works.
