Winnie gets to go for her shots and annual checkup today. The vets are picking pets up in the parking lot and doing exams/shots, calling owners to discuss anything they find, and we get to pay over the phone. Winnie says she's not very excited about the whole thing, but she will take one for the team. Smile

It was really good. Of course, I didn't get to go inside. A nice tech came to the car and collected the carrier. The vet called me and we discussed how healthy she is, and she got her shots. The tech brought her back and loaded the carrier. I paid over the phone. The only thing we need to do is go back sometime soon to do a blood panel just to get a baseline since she turns 7 this year. The vets like to know what's changing if something comes up in the seniors.

Our vets are doing that. My clinic had me bring into twice a year after he hit ten.

I usually let my brother do all the talking. He is the yappy one here. I am quiet. But, yes, I have had adventures. I went outside in the stroller when it was sunny and nice. My brother told me it is safe and nice. You can feel the breeze and sun, AND you can see birds. I miss chasing birds. My meowmy says I will be in the house so I will not get close to birds. She says she does not appreciate that I want rodents to come in so I have something to chase.

I'm glad you liked the stroller, it's safe way to enjoy the outside and the birds. As for inviting the rodents inside well your Meowmy is right. They can do some nasty things before you get to them. Tia Sue

Your meowmy doesn't want to take time and effort to get rid of rodents.

She says that she does not want to deal with them at all. There are something called snakes outside that are supposed to be eating them. I still want to hunt, so she says she will get some of Auntie Jean's toys out. I love those. She keeps them in a jar with the nip that i love so much.

Tia Jean made the best toys. Bud isn't really interested in toys. I may offer one or two to Patch and Sport. They are still unsure of the inside but will come in to eat. Tia Sue

My brother has a sock that he carries around. It is his own little pink sock. I like all toys. I beat them up and hide them for my meowmy to step on.

While we Arwen, any cat toy that had eyes ended up having the right eye missing. Arwen had her right removed before she was put up for adoption.

She wanted to make sure her toys could see things from her perspective. Smile

Mouski's sock travels around the house. Sometimes it is in his cat bed. Sometimes it is near the food dishes. Sometimes, it has to go potty. (which means it needs a bath!)

Bud doesn't know what to do with them. He does understand the comforts of the couch and Giant Cat Bed.

I know I have thumbs. I know I do because they help me open things. Peoples don't give us kitties credit for knowing things because we are so special that we do not get worried about being different. We are merely superior.
