Mutts cartoon
Who would you have voice the characters if Mutts was made into a cartoon?

oh man this is one we've done before...its always fun to see what people think! i think Tom Hanks for Earl, Steve Buscemi for Mooch...i'd have to spend some time thinking on the rest;)oh...Harvey Keitel might make a good Crabby.he's got the tough guy who can really tear up swearing but is deep down a mush quality;)

I was thinking Matthew McConnaughy for Mooch---he's laid back enough!

hmmmmm, not really. A midwestern accent, that I could see for Mooch.
How about Michaela Conlin from "Bones" for Dr. Woo?

i just hear mooch esp with a NJ or NY accent....sort of like a bowery boy. every time Patrick does a talk he seems to bring up how Mooch's 'voice' is based on a friend of his from when he was younger

Is it weird that I don't "hear" voices when I read the cartoons? I've been thinking about this question for a few days and I can't come up with ANYTHING. The characters have their own voices in my imagination and I can't seem to relate that to voices I've heard. I'm weird, aren't I?

ME TOO! I can't imagine anyone for their voices expect for what I imagine them to sound like.

i think i'm the opposite,... i can usually hear characters in my head. i don't really think about it, but i did realize it yesterday when i was reading the little cartoon(its really just pics the lady took of the kitties and photoshopped things in sometimes)of Daisy the Curly Cat. yesterday the last 'panel' was this snail (she had photoshopped on cartoony eyes and sat it in front of the big disney castle)...the snail said "i'm going to disneyland!" and i could HEAR the snail say it in his little squeaky cartoon voice;)
