Colorado Kitty Found in NYC

She is a pretty kitty.

saw that on a blip for the news they just said how far she'd come but not where she came from.

Willow is a beautiful kitty, and a miracle that she was found. but I have my suspicions. I can't believe she travelled all the way to NY from Colorado. I think she looks too healthy to have been travelling and in the wild for 5 years. I think it's more plausible that she was either catnapped or perhaps snuck in a car/truck during renovations.
In any case, I'm glad she is going back to her family.

My guess is she got out in Colorado, got lost, asked a traveling (or eventually moving) family for help, and got taken in. She doesn't seem wild at all; I think she's been with loving peoples. Recently, she got out in NY, got lost again, and encountered a kind person who took her to a shelter where they read her chip. I'm also guessing that her 2nd family is frantic over her loss. I wish there was a way to tell them what's going on. Maybe they'll see the news story. That's a comforting thought.

Willow! Stay in the house from now on! Your sense of direction leaves much to be desired!

Willow is a very lucky kitty. I have a feeling someone took her in, thinking she was a stray, and that's how she ended up in NY. I hope that family sees the story either in the paper or online, and know she's going home to her first family.
