Re: 2012 Westminster Winner
Lol! Gotta agree, where's the dog? I'm sure that Peke was a charmer, but really, sometimes a groomed-out doggie looks more like a grooming brush than a dog! But believe me, I'm laughing more at the humans than the dog. Dogs may like the attention and even love "looking beautiful," but underneath they're still dogs. Nothing finer! (*ahem* Weezer says, except cats)
Way to go, Malachy!

He sure is a fuzzball under all that hair, but if you watched him in action you could see some of the peke attitude and personality shining through. My great-Aunt Betty had pekes when I was a kid, and every one of them was a charmer.

I was rooting for the little red Min Pin - she had such a great strong gait. What attitude!
Re: 2012 Westminster Winner
i Love, min pins. There used to be one on the block where I live. I'd see her every morning when she was having her walkies

She's a lil cutie! I know it must've been hard for the judges to pick just one winner.

Having known our Grommet, I'd vote for the Min Pin, too, even though they were pretty diff looking. Those MP's certainly know how special they are!

Re: 2012 Westminster Winner
Thanks, Suzzzz. You know, even though I have two dogs who are much easier on my nerves, I still find myself missing that big little attitude. He had a spark, just like this little red one did.
Re: 2012 Westminster Winner
Yes, things just aren't the same without his lil tomato-lovin heart around. I still remember that pic with the big red tomato in Grommit's mouth, caught red pawed stealing it from the garden. hehehehehe
