Mutts is on Vacation

It will return on March 19. I don't remember if the strip has ever gone on vacation before...does anyone know if it did?

Where did you see this? I got my regular email strip this morning...

I tried to look at the publish year in the margin of today's strip.....hard to tell but I'd swear it says 2007........ just checked the strip archive.........it IS a rerun from 3-5-07.

Patrick did this twice before..........maybe he needs the time off or there's a family emergency?

It said it in the Daily News.

I don't remember him ever going on vacation before, but he certainly deserves it . All the other cartoonists do this. I guess he needs some time off to work on his kids books, and the movie script.
And He's taking off for his birthday. LOL

There was no mention of this on his Facebook page either, but he absolutely does deserve a little time away!

Today's is from 3-6-2007. Patrick has done this twice before that I know of for daily stips, but those times he mixed up the years he got the strips from. He has done this twice that I know of for Sunday strips too.

Considering Mutts have been going on since 1994, repeating only a couple weeks worth of strips is quite phenominal.

I would rather see the occasional week of "reruns" than risk the strip coming to an end ala Calvin and Hobbes.

I see the Sunday strip wasn't a rerun but this week's dailies are. Patrick must still be on vacation and he's earned one IMHO.
