My Envigado & Jay Jay (plus my kitties in Lansing too)

I don't think I could eat a chippy......looks too much like my beloved but gone Gidget the hammie. But I do wish the chippy would learn to share more nicely.

Well, so far there was only that one squirrel that dared mess up my lavenders.  Beans, however did have an adventure.  She was walking on the outside of the railing on my balcony and fell onto the neighbor's porch below.  When I first heard her yelping, I thought the worst.  When I got down there, no broken bones.  The only thing amiss on Miss Beans was a tiny scratch on her lower jaw and she got the living daylights scared out of her.  Anyway, she tried to get back up to my balcony by climbing up my neighbor's screen.  Yvonne was surprised when she opened up her shades to see Beans at eyelevel!

I know at the time it wasn't funny for anybody, but the look on
everyone's face was PRICELESS!!

She might not want to even go out on the balcony again!

Oh, Beans still goes out as do the boys on occasion.  All the kitty grass and catnip that I planted would have been for nothing if I didn't let them back out.  I'll just have to pay more attention to Beans when she is out with me.  She keeps getting braver every day and will most likely make another railing attempt.

Can you put up some kind of screening or planters to discourage
her.

The trouble with kitties is that every adventure that doesn't actually kill them seems to encourage them to push the envelope one more inch (or mile, as the case may be). 

I have a feeling you're going to have a very interesting summer.

Suzzzz is right about Beans.  The planters that I have out there provide hiding places while stalking bunnies.  The screening would encourage her to make the jump to the top of the balcony railing!

The hot air is more of a deterrant anyway.  I've been bad and have been sleeping in a lot and by the time I'm on the balcony for coffee, the sun is already out!

One should not awaken before the sun!

I get up at 5 almost every day. I'm not awake, but I'm up. On weekends, I go back to sleep, and sometimes I just blow off the alarm. The ponies think 5 AM is the pits too.

My kitties hide under the car or horse trailer when the sun is out. I try to encourage them to stay inside. Gateway doesn't need to be overheated.

I found this when I was hunting for another topic. Has anybody heard from Anrigirl at all. Her last post is almost two years old.

I haven't heard a thing.....anyone?

I just the membership listing and the last time she was on was Sept of
last year.

I sure hope she's okay.
