Larry Hagman
This just flashed on our local news. Larry Hagman has just passed. He was
81 and died in a Dallas hospital. So far there are no other details.

Re: Larry Hagman
I heard he had cancer, and two of his old Dallas costars were with him when he died. I liked him much better in I Dream of Jeannie.

Re: Larry Hagman
I head about that this morning on the news. Complications from Cancer
I loved the original Dallas but must confess I lived him on I dream of Jeannie.
Did you know Mary Martin was his mother?

I never saw one single episode of Dallas, but I did enjoy seeing him in the Jeannie reruns - and yes, I do remember now that Mary Martin was his mother.

Didn't miss much and the natives hated that series.

Re: Larry Hagman
Larry Hagman gave a lot of people a lot of good fun, loved entertaining, and was damned good at it, however silly we may have thought the shows he played in. Fought some personal demons, took some risks, and had the courage to speak out about things he believed in. Not bad for a good long life. May he rest in peace.
