Thank you Tia BobCat. It's so good to be home. At first i was terrified, I thought Meowmy
had left me at That Place. I was also in pain, the beans there worked to take away the pain and
make me comfortable. They were very kind. I spent the night in a cage hurting, scared and confused.
The beans did their best to take away my fear along with the pain. The next thing I knew I heard Meowmy,
I could tell she was very worried. She petted and stroked me the best should could and told me that I was
her Precious Brave Kitteh Boy. She even brought me my nap mat and it smelled like her. When I was in
That Place, I had nothing to call my own. I spent another night there, while I was still scared I was also
reassured that Meowmy hadn't left me. Meowmy came and visited me the next day and brought me a new
nap mat(old pillow case). I was more alert and was begging to go home. She talked to Dr. Izzy and I had to
stay another night. I wasn't as frightened as I had been. On Caturday I got to come home. I have new food
which I like.

Meowmy here, Dr. Izzy gave me instructions on what to look for and pay close attention to not only his
intake but also his output. While there has been poop, I've seen any pee. So, if there is none in the litter
box or on the news papers tomorrow morning then it's back to the vet we go.

Antonio! Enough adventures. Drink lots of water and eat the good for you food. You'll feel better, and so will your meowmy.

"G" I think he will be going back in the morning. While he has pooped and he has eaten well
and drank a fair amount of water. Still he hasn't peed and right now he is hiding. I will check
on him later. He did let me pick him up and cuddle him this afternoon.

GK refuses to pee while we're around. He'll hold it for ages. Check in the morning. Maybe Antonio is just shy. (FINGERS CROSSED!)

Dr. Izzy had to insert a catheter again and the prospect of surgery is now on the horizen.
We'll see I have to call the insurance company tomorrow. I'm worried sick. Hopefully i can
go visit my Precious Kitty Boy tomorrow.

Oh no! Has he had an x-ray to see if there are crystals in the bladder? Or is that what the surgery looks for?

Antonio is still in hospital. I went to visit him today and he was overjoyed to
see me. I hope he can come home tomorrow. We'll see . I talked to the insurance
company and they have faxed all the forms to the clinic for the treatments so far plus
a pre approval form for if he needs surgery. I pray it doesn't come to that. I took his
nap mat to him, so he would have something familiar with him.

I visited Antonio today and yesterday. Today he pulled his catheter out and peed on his towel, It
was tinted with pink but just a tinge. He wasn't eating so I took him up some of his special food and
he nibbled on it. I even took his favorite ceramic bowl, Kelly the tech and I put fresh water in it. He
wasn't drinking water out of the metal bowl. We put his food in a paper tray. He tried to poop but couldn't
He did get his e-collar off sense he had pulled his catheter out. I will talk to Dr. Izzy tomorrow and see what
he has to say.

Are they giving him subq fluids? That is what brought GK around. It was 24 hours and 2 bags of fluids given periodically. He pulled his catheter out when he felt better.

I hope Antonio gets better soon!

The pink tinge could be a small tear from when he pulled the catheter out. Maybe he can't poop because he hasn't much input and not enough water?
Hoping all is much better by the time you read this.......(((((((((((((((((((HEALING VIBES)))))))))))))))))))

He is home tonight. He was trying to use an empty box to either
poop or pee. According to the vet he did pee on his own there, in fact
he even peed on his nap map. I will wash it in hot water with my usual
unscented detergent, white vinegar. I usually wash it on cold but this is
a crisis.

Definitely hot water time. He's probably got a lot of stored-up pee, so I'd expect a few accidents over the next few days. Any word from Dr. Izzy on if he is out of the woods, or are you continuing your vigil?

Antonio went back around lunch time and then came home. The vigil is back on
for Sunday. I'm still grateful to have him with me.

Back this morning, the insurance company has approved him for surgery if he
needs it. Sad Still it's comforting to know that a good chunk of it is going to be
covered.

I spoke with Dr. Izzy this afternoon and Antonio will have to have surgery. Dr. Izzy says he is
not worried, so I guess I shouldn't be either. Still, I'm not ashamed to admit I'm frightened to death.
The surgery has been scheduled for Friday at one.
