I heard about on tv and then read more online. I am so glad people donated all that money so they can stay together. Orlando went against all doggie instinct to stay with him as that train roared over them. He's a hero IMHO. He might not have willingly followed him off that platform but he could've run away after he got on the tracks but didn't. That's love and dedication....and now it's being rewarded.

It's incredible story. I didn't the dogs had a retirement age and that insurance
covered the cost of the dog while he/she is working but won't cover for the dog
once he/she is retired. Intellectually I can understand, but emotionally it SUCKS!
