HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Since I won't be online again until Monday I just wanted to wish everyone a very HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

The library had their annual costume parade for the kids. We had: a librarian is a clown (her usual outfit), her lil dog is dressed as a horse with a jockey (very cute!), a firewoman, a fireman, a lady pirate, 2 giraffes, Cinderella, a fox (very good costume his mom made), Snow White, Bumblebee transformer, 2 Minnie Mouses (and one mom in matching outfit), an angel, a frog, 2 Elmo, a sunflower, 2 Batman, a ninja, 2 black cats (one could barely walk she was so little!), firemouse, Belle from Beauty & the Beast, Luke Skywalker, 2 witches, Yogi Bear, the Flash, a turtle, a zebra, a lion, Frankengirl, a dinosaur, and Bob the Builder.

the shopping area around the store is having their halloween parade etc tomorrow morning at 9:00, Trader Joes is doing their thing tomorrow, our store is having their thing tomorrow...HALLOWEEN in SUN! I don't work tomorrow..so i'll be bringing my stuff to put on after work on Sun.

We give out those little brochure-size comic books along w/candy-the kids here LOVE 'em! Already asking me if we have comics ready this year.

It's a beautiful day here.

It was a beautiful day and evening here too. A tad cold after dark, but a nice clear sky with a crescent moon. NO rain, no snow, no ice, no wind...........and believe me that is rare here to have a holiday without one of those.

it was cool enough here i had to go to kmart and buy a black hooded zip up sweatshirt to wear home with my costume cuz the jacket i brought wasn't warm enough. i never found the long man's hooded pull over sweatshirt i normally wear but this was fine. i walked around the stores with little packets of m&ms (we marked our halloween down 75% on halloween so the bag of little bags was only $1!)in my pocket and if anyone complemented me on my costume i gave them some candy:)
