As the place looks more and more like home, and the usual routine starts coming back, he is settling down. I got some nice snuggles last night, and he was quite playful too. Had toys all over the place, looked like a bomb went off in his toy basket! Shocked The tv guy was here from Geeksquad and mom said Bij took off at first to hide, then was peeking out under the blanket across the bedroom door at the guy on the floor tinkering with something. Curiosity got the better of him so he came out, circled carefully a few times, then sat directly in front of the guy and watched........the guy petted him, scratched his ears, said hi. I think Bij liked him (he probably has furkids at home so Bij could smell them on him). This guy is coming back next Fri with the parts needed to fix the tv. Bijoux probably thought the guy was there to visit him (Ah, a new worshipper!). Nice wetfood revue show, and snuggles afterwards. No walker ride since mom was too tired to take him.

Tell Petie thankyou for the compliment. I try to do my very best when making toys for my precious furkids.

Bijoux was all over me last night, I smelled of wonderful food from lunch. Got lots of snuggles, purrs, kisses.....and several requests for food and treats. Didn't have any lunch leftovers (not allowed a leftover bag at a buffet) so had to settle for treats and crunchies. He helped me look for the earpiece of mom's glasses, and tried to make mom feel better by snuggling with her too. He also napped on the back of the couch where he could keep a close eye on her and me. Song n dance routine for wetfood started early but didn't result in an early dinner. Went for a nice walk and later on a walker ride too. I think he was a very happy boy, I even got nitenite kisses!

And Bij has been extra playful lately too, must be the weather.

It's definitely good to see Bijoux back to his old self. I'm sure it's a relief for him.

Well, he had fun last night playing in empty boxes. We managed to put the entire dvd collection back on the shelves, which is a major job. Bij supervised from the comfort of his cuddlebed, until the siren call of a cardboard box proved too irresistable to ignore. LOL I made sure to get in some kisses and snuggles, and even rocked him a bit before dinner. Made sure he got his dinner on time too, and a nice walker ride too. Now to get 'his' bedroom looking less like a disaster zone.....

OOooooo, I can imagine! Very Happy Bijoux will occasionally still play in paper bags, but much prefers boxes.

Bij got to supervise mom and I sorting out stuff for the storage cabinet, all sorts of paper stuff like stationary, gift wrap, pens and pencils, etc. At least mom thinned it out to one cabinet instead of two like she had before. Now she's putting back nik naks, with 'help', and saying we're still missing a box of them somewhere. Hmmmmm, I don't suppose Bij will tell us where it's located. He'll have some more fun helping the tv repairman today and me later tonight. He sure was a snugglebug for me last night! And you should have seen him taking the dainiest lil bites of a large marshmellow I was holding for him.....look of pure bliss on his face. Then the sugar kicked in.............zoomkitty! Laughing He sure worked up an appetite for dinner and gave us a rousing rendition of something singing for his supper. Too busy eating it in many courses to give me a nitenite kiss.

Bijoux got to 'help' me unpack a box of crafting tools yesterday, and played in the box for hours. So cute, peekakitty and pounce on 'unsuspecting' victims walking by the box. hehehehehehe Mom was gone for a while so I had him all to myself. Also very snuggly for me, and I rocked him too. Practically bowled me over at the door when we got back from Brads, wanting dinner. Nice short song n dance for dinner, burped him, and he slept it off in the cuddlebed. Nobody escorted me out as we were all tired. Mom said he snuggled with her all the previous night so he must've been cold. Said he was curled into a lil heavy ball on her stomach.....

Today is Turkey Day shopping, so the kitties will have lots of sacks and bags to help with. I try to use the cloth bags, but the kitties don't care. They are happy to unpack those just as much as they are to unpack paper or plastic bags. I hate to watch that plastic stuff though. I remember the one that attacked poor Archimedes and chased him all over the house. Laughing

I remember you posting something about that or was Jeane who posted about Toothpicky or
Salem walking around wearing a plastic bag. Anyway the imagination ran rampant with that.

I remember the plastic bag that attacked Bijoux and chased him all over the apartment, thwacking him in the butt with that milkcan of brownie mix.

Bijoux was at the door to greet me yesterday, happy lil guy. Gave him lots of hugs and kisses. Mom was in a bad mood again so he stuck close to me unless she was really yelling. Then he'd retreat to the bedroom for a bit. Yesterday afternoon my sis came with mom's computer and Maggie. Maggie tried to get Bij to play but he hissed at her to stay away. And mom said Maggie wasn't all hyper as usual so he had no reason to hiss. Still, Maggie didn't bother him or go after him and it was only a hiss. She did however eat Bij's crunchies. Didn't play with any of his toys, just the one mom gave her. When Bij got hungry he had to ask for crunchies, Maggie only left a couple crumbs in the bowl. Gave Bij lots of snuggles, rocking, scratching. Nice lil show for wetfood, ate like he was starving, burped at me, gave me thankyous, and went right to the walker and just sat there waiting. He got his walker ride to see me off.

Well I've being ignored for the huge mound of clean bedding. I washed everything on the Giant
Cat Bed today and now Antonio is snuggled down in it.

I was mostly ignored last night, other than a quick applying of Eau de Bijoux to my wet hair. He was too intent on laying on the back of the couch to keep an eye on mom to pay much attention to me, until dinnertime. Then I had his attention! He kept mewing at mom and she told him to ask me but he wouldn't. I got the can out and all of a sudden I wasn't invisible anymore. Did get a teeny thankyou kiss before he asked for a postdinner walker ride. No nitenite kisses for me though.
