Every once in a while, the American version works. The new "Being Human" is quite good. That's lucky for us, as we don't get BBC shows on our cable.

Torchwood! Looking so much forward to it!
As far as I know, it's going American because they couldn't get funding in Britain.

I'd like them to bring back the original team. They were a good mix.

Re: TORCHWOOD NEWS
We're supposed to be getting the new series of Torchwood in July this year. Seems like we've waited forever for it.

Can't remember when the last episode was shown, it must be nearly two years ago. But the new series is on tonight. Yaaayyyyy.

Well I've got to say, the first episode was absolutely terrific. I'm really looking forward to seeing the next 9. I just hope they can keep the quality for the rest of the series.

Re: TORCHWOOD NEWS
There was an article in my newspaper saying that John Barrowman was campaigning to get Capt Jack and the new Doctor back together in the next series.

i'd love to see that.....i really like the Capt...not as much as the Doctor but he's interesting and not so hard on the eyes;) (John did something on some cable channel several years ago where he went around to various castles that was really interesting:) i only saw it once but wish i could see it again!)

Re: TORCHWOOD NEWS
Barrowman was interviewed in my newspaper recently for a regular article called 'six things I can't do without'. Top of his list was his three dogs. They all have doggy passports so he and his partner can take them anywhere.

Re: TORCHWOOD NEWS
Well, I was right. I didn't think they could keep the suspense going for ten episodes and I wasn't wrong. I felt as though the last four episodes have been padded out for no reason and I'm afraid the last episode just left me feeling absolutely disappointed.
I'm not homophobic in any way, but I could have done without those scenes in it. Unnecessary to the plot line. More padding out of an episode.
Bring back the old series with different stories and a nice story arc running through it.
I love Torchwood, I really like the characters and although Russell T Davies was involved, somehow it just lacked something.
