This is my parents' town. I love bike racing, and am excited about maybe seeing one of the all-time greats.

Cool, and I bet the area is excited about all those new jobs too. I wonder: does quality control get to ride the bikes to make sure they pass muster? If so, sounds like a fun job to me.

No bikes manufactured there, just materials. But jobs in Appalachia are always a good thing. Oak Ridge is a high tech place, and it's close to Knoxville. Their job situation isn't too bad, but it could be better. I'd offer to QC bikes.
