Bathroom remodeling problems

Sounds to me like the GC should pay you a day's wages. You just completed the general contractor's job! 

AHHHHHHHHH!!!! - Finally, the next to the last step was done on Friday - the glass door person put in the shower doors - of course, there WAS a small problem - the tile that he was drilling in turned out to be tougher than he thought - took a while, but in the end, it was finally finished     - now the final step comes next wednesday, the "dreaded" township final electrical check - I know all is well, but the township?   they missed the first rough check two weeks ago - I will be "WATCHING YOU" - just in case!

Will be hoping you don't have to track that guy down, and everything from this point on will go smoothly.

What does Tat think of the new shower? Has she checked it out yet?

Such a feeling of relief, no? Once you get the township to do their job, it'll be time for a nice LONG shower. And, maybe Tat can check out the new sink/bed? (Archimedes always thought the sink made the best summertime nap spot.)

Tat has checked out the new sinks - a little bit higher, but really nice.  Haven't checked out the shower - the chief contractor says to give it two days to "dry out" the silicone bonding on the doors - will be definitely "tested" tomorrow morning.

Monday morning, checked it ALL out - nice - everything works, no leaks - shower is one of those "restricted flow" stuff now required, but it was BIG, so I got good coverage.

Tat has found her spot, off to the right side of the counter, by the door - good air, nice view, perfect resting place.

Now, will the township show up on wednesday? Good folks will tune again on thursday!

YAYYYYY!!! - At 9:01 AM Wednesday, the township official showed up - checked out the job - signed off and gave me the small form - I AM DONE WITH THIS JOB!!!!!       - I'll now send off the FINAL payment to the contractor, and relax.  Close down this chapter of the forum!

Well, it's Thursday and I'm tuning in --- to find I missed all the excitement!   Oh, who cares, I'm just thrilled it all worked out!! Congrats to Jim and Tat!
