What's on today's agenda?
Drinking coffee and shopping for winter hay. My wallet is already crying.

Mine will be too when I get my pneumonia shot (mom pays for the flu shot--my annual birthday 'gift of good health').
Today: sleep in since there was NO SCHOOL, pancakes for breakfast, library to clear out what I can online since I won't be online again until Monday, pick up mom for her dr. appt. Then home for a nice shower, dinner, and some Bij snuggling.
Health fair tomorrow.....hope the rain holds off until AFTER we get in the door. We'll have to stand in line to be let in for several hours. I froze last year, literally couldn't feel my fingers or toes by the time we got in the door.

Donning raincoats and going to tailgate/football game at my alma mater. The weather sucks, but it'll be fun anyway. What's football without a little crappy weather?

Weather was gorgeous here. Today was Texas-OU weekend, so basically I stayed home
until I realized I was out of kibble for the Rodent Patrol, et al. Don't worry Don Antonio did
not miss a meal.

Re: What's on today's agenda?
That's good.
Work in the rain, library, lunch, get stuff ready for sealing up the window and patio door for winter (so soon?) this coming weekend, work again, shower, dinner, pin a pair of winter pants for sewing. Over to mom's to thaw out a bit before bed.
I've been trying off/on to sign up for medical coverage for over a week, only to get a busy signal on the phone or have the emails bounce back undelivered.

Tomorrow's agenda is start working early, take a break for the first vet visit with the little one, and more work. I hope I can include some pony time in there.

Re: What's on today's agenda?
Good luck.....sounds like a busy day.
Today: bundle up to work in the rain--again. Drop off recyclables. Library.....home for lunch, get stuff out to seal up the window/patio door for winter (ie: caulking gun and seasonseal, styrofoam, bubblewrap, duct tape, plastic), sweep off the balcony and clean out the birdhouse for winter storage, work again, shower, dinner, over to mom's for a while.
VERY busy day tomorrow: won't be online. Mom has 2 dr appts: one before and one after my afternoon shift so I have to drop her off, work, then go pick her up again.

The window guy shows up tomorrow morning to measure the last 7 windows that need to be replaced. Then, it's off to work.

Looks like I dodged a bullet at work with the end of the shutdown. We were preparing to be on furlough as of next Monday, and now we're back on again ... until mid-January, when this will all begin again.

Re: What's on today's agenda?
Same old......except I'm also going to try to finish sewing in the new zipper on my winter coat tonight. I might also start sealing up my patio door for winter if I have enough time after work to get it done...plastic and all (to keep the fumes from the Seasonseal in so I'm not breathing it in all night setting off my asthma).

Just work and work and WORK. It was a long day, so the rest of the agenda is to treat Kilmouski's ears and fleas, and rest.

Re: What's on today's agenda?
I got a lot done yesterday and today my hands hurt enough today to prove it! Cleaned the patio off, put up the huge tarp to block the wind since those trees aren't there to do that job anymore; sealed and insulated, then plastic up the patio door; sealed the bedroom window after filling in the space between them with bubblewrap for insulation (but it lets the light in); finished stitching in the new zipper in my winter coat (just in time!), and dug out the rest of the winter clothes.
Today: sleep in a bit since I didn't want to leave that nice warm bed for a 60° room, breakfast, library, home to put fleece sheets and extra blankets on the bed, go through the winter shirts and start packing away the summer stuff, make my pizza in a bowl to take over and cook at Brads, watch the movie.....and rest my hands.
WHEW!!!

The usual Saturday stuff. Brunch, putter around the house, nap with Antonio. Getting ready to run some errands.

Re: What's on today's agenda?
I don't think it was on today's agenda, but I woke up at 3:10 AM with a full-on ocular migraine. I hate when that happens. I've had ocular migraines for 35 years, and don't get as many as I used to, but only in the past couple have I experienced them during the night. What a way to start the day...
Re: What's on today's agenda?
I hear ya there.....I get those too. Most of the time I get them in the middle of the day when I'm not at home, but sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with them.
Today: dress in a hurry (it's 57 and dropping in my place), hot breakfast, shiver through work, cold at the library (my fingers and toes are half numb as I type this). Going home to dive under the blankets for a bit before shivering through work this afternoon. Turkey and veggies in the crockpot so won't have to stand in a cold kitchen cooking dinner. Over to mom's to thaw out for a few hours before diving into bed to stay warm.
Fall, what happened to you? It's too soon for winter.

Re: What's on today's agenda?
Bundle up for work (4 layers!), then library (still cold in here). Dive under the blankets when I get home, shiver through work again, hot shower. Leftovers for dinner, and off to mom's to roast.........
They turned the heat on in her building and it's 80 in her place with the heat for her apartment turned off! Neighbors must have theirs cranked up way high. Wish I could attach a tunnel to her window and siphon some of that heat over to my place. It's 56 in my place as of this morning. Definitely dive under the covers fast when I got home to bed.

Do the usual work thing and then ride, ride, ride. That's my schedule for the next solid week. Rain or shine, I have to get on the horse!

Re: What's on today's agenda?
Have fun at the museum Lovekitties!
Bundle up for work (another 4 layer morning wishing I'd worn 5), take mom to pantry, library, home for a little bit, work again, dinner, over to mom's building to swelter before bedtime.
I hope Bij is as snuggly for me tonight as he was last night. I slept sooo good after all those kitty cuddles.
