Bingo found a home

Good boy Bingo! Keep those pesky raccoons away from your family and back in the woods where they belong.

I am watching Bingo sleep. His paws are twitching. I wonder what he's chasing.

Who knows....maybe raccoons, maybe coyotes, maybe squirrels. Hope it was a good dream.

Today, there's no foot twitching. Just sound sleep. He must have had a hard day of lying around.

It's hard work being cute all day long!

Bingo's dad was gone for 4 days, and came home today. HAPPY DOG! He almost turned himself inside out when he saw his daddy.

I can imagine......

We went on a nice walk today. One day of no rain, and we had to take advantage of it. Poor dog hasn't walked in a few days. He got tired.

Maybe Bingo need a treadmill with a video of walking through the woods for those rainy days when you can't go outside.  If the treadmill is big enough you both can go for a 'walk'. A dogs' gotta keep in shape you know...otherwise pesky raccoons will get away with almost anything around the place.

We're going to start today with a nice walk in the park. It's a beautiful day with breeze, sun, and great temperatures.

We took our first recorded walk today. Unfortunately, I couldn't see my phone well in the sun, and didn't start the app. Sigh... 3.1 good miles down the tubes. But, I walked a mile at lunch time, so we got a donation.

Well, the walk was good exercise anyway so not a total waste.
Get a good walk in since Monday?

Monday I walked a little way. Yesterday, I had a meeting after work, so no walks. Today, I worked at home, so we went on a lunchtime walk. I wish Bingo could come to work so we could walk more.

If only....**sigh**

We walked around the courthouse area today. In VA, we don't have towns in our counties, so our county has a courthouse. That is a two block area that has the old brick courthouse and administrative buildings, and then there are another few blocks with more recent buildings for stores, restaurants, and doctor offices. We walked for about 1/2 an hour, and visited a lot of people who were gathering at the restaurants for Friday fun. Everyone said Bingo is just too cute.

And his fan club grows....... sounds like a fun time for both of you.

Poor Bingo. No walk today because the rain started on my drive home. He had to entertain himself with play in the yard (and then he hid on the porch). He now smells like wet dog. Yummy!

Did the rain quit yet? It's been misting here all morning after a short rain storm last night.

Another rainy day today, but it stopped before the light faded. We got in about 45 minutes of walking. He hesitated a lot, I think because his dad is away for the day. But, once we got to the corner (about 1/2 a mile), he was fine. We turned around when the sprinkles started again.

At least you had a nice walk in....I think Bingo kept hesitating hoping his daddy would be coming up from behind to join you on your nice walk.

We went alone again today. He was speedy dog. He went about .5 miles/hour faster than his usual walk speed. I have an app on my phone that raises money for shelters every time we walk. It also helpfully measures distance and speed.

I wonder why he was in such a hurry?

Today, Bingo met a new friend, Libby. Libby is a big chocolate lab. She's pretty excited, and weighs almost as much as her mom. We had a wonderful lunch on the porch of our favorite restaurant, and the dogs shared a bowl of butternut squash soup. Then, we went on a walk. Libby is not fixed (yet), and is in heat. She taught Bingo what twerking is all about. He was confused, but decided it must be a girl thing he should ignore.

Good idea, Bingo. Libby will get over it soon!
