Re: Refugees in my bathroom
Meowmy is doing much better. Tonio and I are looking forward to Cripsmouse. Meowmy says that even though we have been Silly Precious Kittehs we have still been Good Kittehs. So Santa Paws will be leaving us something. I'm disappointed that we won't have a tree. I would like to have had one. Trina

Maybe she was afraid you'd climb it, it would fall, and you would get hurt?
Don't need a tree to have a good Christmas....it's about good friends, family, good food, and love.

She didn't get one because the places she usually goes to were sold out. Still it was a wonderful Crispmouse.

Re: Refugees in my bathroom
I had a Christmas branch one year, not a tree. Went out and cut a small branch off a tree and put it in a glass of water. Put tiny paper snowflakes on it.
Glad your Crispmouse was a good one!

We did not do much for our Crispmouse, but we did get some nip on our toys. It was a very fun day.

We had a quite New Years too. Meowmy had to go chase green papers Caturday. Then she came home and we snuggled. Someone left our favorite treats outside Meowmy's door. Meowmy puttered and even got out the Evil Giant Sucking Machine.
I was naughty earlier. I found the bag of wine corks that Meowmy was going to take for recycling. That make wonderful cat toys, Meowmy is a bit annoyed because they are all over the floor,

I love corks too. My meowmy lets me play with a couple, but she keeps most of them in a jar so I can't get to them. I say it's unfair.

I agree. Meowmy picked most of them up. She left me a few. Trina

As Antonio has told you. We have no heat. We have a space heater to help with the chill but it's still cold. Still Antonio and Meowmy says it could be worse. Still we had a good weekend, with naps and romps.

The weather here warmed a little, but we still appreciated the warm air blowing. I hope yours is back.

Yes, we are toasty warm. In fact so toasty that Meowmy is slow to get out of the Giant Cat Bed and refill the kibble bowl. Trina

Ah......that's what cold noses are for! Works like a charm to get pokey peoples out of bed to feed us.

Personally, most of the time I shake meowmys shoulder, kiss her eyelids, and mew right into her ear. When that doesn't work, then I use my cold nose.

Re: Refugees in my bathroom
Little Trina, you might. But, your meowmy has said she is supposed to help other needy kitties find homes too. She would never let you go to a home that was not as nice as the one you have now.
(Secretly, I kind of hope you get to stay there.)
