I know. The only thing I could do was make sure he felt safe and secure when he got home. When I took him to boarded I put an old t-shirt along with a small blanket.

I'm sorry I haven't checked in such a long time.  Everything is going well, though Meowmy is not happy with my pooping.  She's I'm not doing it often enough, especially since I started snubbing my pumpkin snack.  Still even though it's HOT here in Dallas, life is good.  Tonio

Oh no! You should eat your pumpkin. It will keep your tummy from hurting real bad and having to visit the doctor. That means a ride in the CAR. My meowmy asked if you might prefer winter squash. She has given me some, and I like it ok. She just cooks it in some water and mushes it up with my food. It isn't my favorite, but I don't shnub it much.

Meowmy, here any particular type of winter squash? I'm willing to try anything.

I have eaten butternut and acorn squash. Not much... Just a little mushed up in my tinned food. I will lick it off her plate if it has turkey juice on it. (I don't shnub pumpkin either, but it is probably because it is a treat for me.)

I will cook some and leave it unseasoned for him. won't hurt to try.

Something awful happened tonight. When Meowmy was filling the food container for the Away Groups, she stepped on me. SNIFFLE!! I was only trying to get a bite of their food. It's much tastier than mine. Oh! wait maybe it wasn't that painful. She gave me ear scrtiches and then some of their kibble. All is well now. Tonio

What is it with meowmies these days? Mine stepped on my brother while she was getting coffee ready. He was only innocently behind her and trying to look out the door. He told her she is bad. She gave him scratches and let him go outside-y. I think he made too much noise since she didn't even have shoes on and didn't stomp him like I know she can.

I know mine abandoned me this morning. GASP!! She didn't even give me my gushy food for breakfast. She tried to make it up to me when she came back but HA!! I showed her I snubbed it. Tonio

It has cooled off a bit here in Dallas. While it's been rainy and dreary, we at least had some back porch time this morning. Tonio

We are flooded. The big rain came down. The town was under about 1.5 feet of water, my meowmy said. She had to drive around to get back from getting us ready for more rains. I am not liking the weather.

That's awful, my cousin. Are you going to have to leave and go to higher ground? What about the grass eaters? I know your Meowmy won't leave anyone behind. Stay safe. Tonio

We are all fine. We all left to be safe, but nothing happened. The grass eaters went in two rounds. The biggest one went at night, and then the two smaller ones went with me far, far away. The waters on Sunday went away with no damage to the town. Our house was fine. The horriblecane did not come here, but I am worried for my cousins in North Carolina.

It has been pouring buckets here in Dallas. While the temps are mild it's much to wet to enjoy the back porch. The weather was so bad that Meowmy couldn't get to the pet store to get my gushy food. She was most upset that she had run out. All is well now, we are completely restocked, she even got me a new flavor of pumpkin stuff. I made her hand feed me. What our Meowmy's will do to convince us to eat. Tonio

MOL! You have her trained well, cousin. Is the new pumpkin stuff good? It is terrible weather here too. My meowmy says she does not want to go to her worktime tomorrow, but I told her she must because I do not want to be hungry.

Thank you, it's been a slog at times. They do have a tendency to backslide. I like it, the taste is milder and the texture is much nicer. Tonio

My doggie eats pumpkin from a can for breakfast. I have not tried it He says it is yummy though. Maybe one day I will take a taste.

Try a taste, you might like. I had to have YUCKY MEDS today. Meowmy said that since I hadn't pooped since Sunday, it was time. I did eat all my wet food at breakfast and dinner though. Tonio

Tonio, it could be worse for you. I have to take thyroid medicine every day. My mama lost track how long I have been taking the medicine.
