That's where I'm going to put ours. I think it will work there. It's not next to a window but it will still get plenty of light. Tia Sue

There two pieces of cat furniture that are at the same level with the windowsill and they are at two different windows. Cats like being at those when the windows are open. The third cat furniture doesn't reach the windowsill, but it's below the window anyway.

Mine is very tall. I can reach the ceiling from the top. It only fits in the corner by the window, and I like it. I can hide in a box or I can sleep on the top shelf. I sleep on the shelf every night.

My caddy put mine together. My meowmy says we need some new posts because we tore them apart. She is hoping she can find some so she does not need to get another tree. The ropes on the tree are all over the place now I love to scratch on those posts!

I'm going to contact a handy man. I also needs some pictures hung. I'm sure Bud will love it. Patch is still in the kitchen behind the washer/dryer. She comes out for tinned food twice a day and even rubs up against me when I'm putting out the food. I think she comes out and explores at night. Tia Sue

I hope she does too. She was naughty last night. Pooped in living room last night. The litter boxes are picked daily. Naughty girl. Tia Sue

Tsk tsk! Patch! Please don't be that way. It's very rude. When my brother was sick, he did that. I know it's one of the ways we say we are upset, but it is better just to give the death stare.

I agree. Hopefully there will not be a repeat. right now she is hanging in the kitchen. When I went in to replenish the water bowl she was laying next to the sink. Very relaxed. We have an ice maker, so when I fill the bowl with ice and then water. I've noticed that they drink more water that way. Tia Sue

That is funny, Tia Sue. My brother and I wait for the ice to be gone and then we will drink. We do not like our water too cold. I do like to chase ice cubes though. I beat them up and then they disappear!

I think they wait till it's almost gone. Patch had another outside the box moment yesterday afternoon. I wish knew what's going on. She was using it last week. I confined her to the kitchen last night. I think I'll will do the same tonight but set up a small pan of her own. I pick the boxes daily and add fresh litter.

Bud is currently hanging out on the balcony and looking for a new way to escape.

Mouski did that when he was having bladder issues. It's unusual for girl kitties to get that, but maybe she doesn't feel so well in another way? I hope not, but if it keeps happening, it's probably worth a check.

I would love to get her to the vet but unless I trap her again it's not happening. Her appitite is good and so is her water intake.

Good signs. It's probably just her comment on the new situation. Cats...

I know. Bud did his escape/walkabout thing tonight. Luckily he came sauntering up when I started to walk the parking lot and calling him. I've order two more child gates for the balcony. I've got two already but the center is open and he goes out on to a narrow ledge and then jumps down on a sloping brick wall. Hopefully that will put an end to this nonsense. Worthless cat. right now he's hanging out on the couch.

I am being very friendly since it got rainy. I do not like the rains much, so it is a good time to snug and butter up the peoples. I do not like treats much, but I still want them under my paw so I get things when I demand them like my suppers.

I am glad you are back, Bud. Do not let Food Lady know your hiding place. I have not told mine. It helps me make fun of the peoples when they try to find me.

Good sign from Patch. Silly Bud. Mikey never told us his hiding spots were. That silly cat always woke up when human food was ready to eat.

I know. I'm thinking of blocking off the kitchen and putting her litter box in there for a while. I have mixed feelings about that since she is starting to come out at night and sleep in the cat tree.
