Mouski's purr motor has been working overtime. Winnie's is very quiet. Maybe it will get louder as she gets more and more comfortable. We'll see. She hasn't let us pet her belly yet, so she isn't totally comfortable. Smile Getting there though.

Mouski's motor runs so loud that he gets "burps" while he purrs. It's funny.

Antonio hums and when he's in a sound sleep he will squeak.

I love you Winnie is a very quiet girl when she wants to be, but she is a talker. She chirps, coos, and meows to tell us all kinds of stories. She has started to chirp at Mouski, which I hope is telling him friendly things. He is much more calm and himself, so I think things are good.

Ascot was a talker. I'm sure she is telling Mouski her story. Glad to hear that he is going back to his usual mellow self.

She decided to try the bladder jump to get me up this morning. Unfortunately for her, I got up at 4:30 and did NOT feed her. Laughing

She is doing great. She is becoming more and more of a pet every day. She does not like to be held, but she really likes to be close to us. She wants to play with Mouski, but he is still pretty unsure of her. Sometimes he plays and sometimes he runs away. They are working it out, but it's slow going.

I understand. I'm not big into being held. I like being close to Meowmy, especially when she's stretched out on the couch. Then I like her to cuddle me but I'm not big into being picked up and held. Tonio

Cats here don't like being held. Jack and Tortie will get in my dad's lap. For some reason my dad's lap is the only lap they will occupy.

Antonio is the same. When I'm stretched out on the couch he will snuggle on top of me but that's it.

I like sitting on laps too. It is good to be on a lap that has a blankie on it when it is cold outside.

I know it's suppose to get chilly here in Dallas, tonight. Meowmy has set up the warm blanket on the Giant Cat Bed. Tonio

We had a weird warm day yesterday, but we're back to fall weather today. Winnie has decided that she likes to snuggle and be a lap kitty now. I didn't think she would, but I like it. Smile

Tonight, she went under the blanket and purred on my lap. I'm hoping she and Mouski will agree to share. Right now, Mouski is enjoying staying in his stroller. He has one of Auntie Jeane's blankets in there, so he's plenty warm.

I've fired up the electric blanket and order some fleecy slippers. I'm freezing, Antonio is sleeping under the reading lamp. He's also sleeping on Tia Jeane's blankets.

It's coming here. It was 81 degrees here today, and now it's windy with thunderstorms scheduled for the middle of the night. Tomorrow will be in the mid 50s or maybe 60 if we're lucky. I'll have to pull out the sweatshirts since I'm going hay shopping. Mattress warmer will definitely be on tomorrow night, which will bring kitty companions for sleeping.
