While I like the most of his works, A Christmas Carol has always resonated with
me.

i cut my teeth on Dickens...had read almost everytihng he'd written before i was 11!
one of the comic writers i really like has a book.(graphic novel?) that he's selling for 99cents today only. the trouble is you have to have a Kindle or have the Kindle app downloaded to be able to buy it. and i really would perfer to have it in my hands than on my screen. The author is Tony Lee and damned if i can remember the name of it...its a sequel to Oliver Twist.

There is a 'person' holding a red square and when you click on the red box, a Tony Bennett song called Cold Cold Heart plays. Also, there is animation as the song plays.

Rossini's 220th birthday

Loved this one! Rossini is a favorite of mine. He did a lot of serious composing, but his lighthearted stuff always makes me feel joyful!
