Beans and Me
Finally, I'm starting up the new topic. Letting the old one was difficult, but I'm no longer in Lansing and Beans is my only kitty now...
How I wish I hadn't forgotten to bring my phone to the library with me!!! Beans has been a big help with my upper body PT exercises. For part of the half hour, tires herself out bringing me two or three toys. She makes this a big deal as she always has. For the balance of the half hour, she'll sleep in the 'heated' kitty bed between my ankles. I have a picture of this on my phone and you all would love it
Lastly, I still have so many questions about how everyone is doing!!! Keeping up with the forum at the library is so difficult. I don't think the library is open long enough for me to read everything on here I want to read...

AAAHHH! The library computer wouldn't let me upload pics from my phone! Lately Beans has enjoyed curling up right next to my knees while I drink coffee. You would have liked that snap too!

Re: Beans and Me
Maybe someone with a home computer will let you upload those pics to the net....then you could post them here (and email it as an attachment in an email to me so I can actually see them too).
So glad you're back and Beans too...missed the stories of you both. I use a library computer too. No uploading pics, no seeing a lot of them either from clicking a link.

Re: Beans and Me
Finally, the phone version of this forum let me on without being redirected to the website of an attorney! :-P As far as I can see, it won't let me upload pictures :-(
Beans and I are enjoying a relaxing morning. Me, coffee and the internet. Her, the warm-blooded furniture (my lap ;-) )

Re: Beans and Me
That sounds like an excellent morning. Is it really cold where you are? (What a silly question! Isn't it cold everywhere?) My kitties are enjoying the warm-blooded furniture now that it's winter here.

Re: Beans and Me
Definitely an excellent morning, nothing better than kitty snuggles to keep a body warm (goes both ways, she keeps you warm and you keep her warm).
Bijoux loves warm-blooded furniture too, prefers it over every other kind there is.

Yes, the weather has been mostly cold here in Michigan, but we've had a warm-up over the weekend :-) Despite the warm-up, Beans is still going for the warm blooded furniture :-)

Perfection!
Brrr! Michigan... Have you been a victim of the fall snows that came? My brother-in-law in IL said they've had snow already. BRRR!

Re: Beans and Me
We're getting it again in IL as I type this. If you don't have it in MI it's coming.....so Beans will be seeking warm blooded furniture a lot more than usual...if such a thing is possible.

Re: Beans and Me
Awww, nuts! The forum went allow me to upload photos from my phone :-P This was an adorable one too Beans was sitting on my lap with all her toes on her paw completely out. Underneath that adorable paw were sharp little reminders for me to not get up until SHE was ready

Re: Beans and Me
Fiffur, in answer to your question in the other topic, Beans is doing great :-) I thought she even stopped hissing at me when I was done with my PT exercises, but she started doing it again. There will not be a tree in my apartment this year, just as there never has been. I always had cats, and quite frankly, like having them better than a tree anyway :-)

Re: Beans and Me
Amen! The only tree in my house is the cat tree. We did break down this year and put a wreath on the door.

Re: Beans and Me
And yet Bijoux will stare at the tree in the lobby, the fake plants, and the stuffed snowmen...but not touch except maybe lightly with his nose. My mom has never had a tree in the place since having cats. She figures it would be too much temptation.

Re: Beans and Me
Those goofy squirrels always ruin morning coffee for Beans and me! Sometimes I wish the weather was warm enough so that I could leave the door open and she could charge them!

Re: Beans and Me
I have seen only 2 or 3 squirrels in my yard the whole time I've lived here. I bet the kitties here would lose their minds. I can see how they would ruin morning coffee.

Re: Beans and Me
From her purring position on my lap, she'll hear them climb up the balcony...and will leave my lap!
Beans is also quite a recycling genius I was getting ready to take some gift boxes to the dumpster. When I was doing something else, she closed one on the other for more comfort!

Re: Beans and Me
So did the boxes ever make it out, or are they now a kitty resting spot?
