Beans and Me

They're still by the door. She got a day with them before and the boxes will go out with the trash later today

Will you save one box for Beans to play in?

Beans sat down in them as I was taking the garbage out of the kitchen. She gets them for one more day

Good! I bet that was soooooo cute to see.

Can you find room for one box to stay for a while? Until Beans gets tired of it?

She does seem to be tiring of them, but she has them 'til tomorrow morning
When I take her ploppies to the dumpster in the morning, I always forget the boxes...

Could be fate is taking a hand in this...by making you forget so Beans gets to play in the boxes for one more day?

HOORAY for forgetting-again. Bet Beans was very happy to have her boxes to start the new year with.

She was, but the boxes are IN the dumpster!! Don't worry, Beans still is allowed to play with garbage I believe there are a couple of milk jug rings wandering around the apartment

But no box to hide one of those rings in? Bij likes to chase a ball around in his box (yes, we keep one on the floor just for him to play in). The manager asked once, then just shook his head...but said no more about it or getting rid of it.

As soon as she 'kills' the rings, she brings them to me <3 Because she likes to play with garbage so much, Beans will wait patiently for me to dangle the dental floss

My kitties think that anything that we would throw away is the perfect toy. We had paper grocery bags yesterday. There was much pounce and hide going on.

Wish I could've watched that! Bij loves paper bags too.

Now our past furbabe Fiffur would literally play with anything.....nothing was off limits. Even our shoes. We could've dangled dental floss for him without worrying about him trying to swallow it like Bij would.

This kinda makes me wonder why cats don't go for the garbage can like dogs do!

After I got home from the Cancer Center, Beans was ready for some body heat and I was happy to oblige.  Unfortunately, she had to wait until I was done with dinner.  Right before I laid down on the couch covered up by a quilt, she was acting like she was in pain Poor kitty!

Awwww.....and when they want to snuggle there is no such thing as Wait in their opinion. They want it now!

She's been on my lap for about two hours now! I suppose that I should get up and eat something brunchy...

Right now, she's sitting on my lap with her body heat focused on my left knee. Sometimes Beans knows just what I need <3

What a great kitty! She needs to tell my kitties about my right knee.

She also needs to tell Bij about my right foot.....I had minor surgery on it yesterday. Outpatient lump removal...find out what it was late next week but boy it hurts today.

Hopefully all knees and feetfeet are feeling better!

Today Beans and I are again admiring the pretty snow from inside.  I'll have to go outside tomorrow to get coffee!  Yesterday, we had a visit from my sister and mom.  Beans hid under the couch for half the visit.  Gretchen was able to lure her out with a butter treat. Beans then decided my sister's coat and shoes did not smell enough like her. She rubbed her kitty body on as much of the coat as she could reach. Watching her plop her whole body on the shoes and then roll around on them was absolutely priceless!!!
