more Gateway adventures

Friends, my meowmy and dad just came home after DAYS away. They had nice Miss Lynn come to take care of me, but I feel like they abandoned me. I have not let my dad off the couch for hours. He needs to make up for his lap being gone for so long.

****GASP*** I can't believe your parents did that. Meowmy has done it to me, it's a horrid feeling. Make sure your Dad shares his part of the giant Cat Bed with you too. Tonio

My Lori disappeared on my Saturday night, then both she and meowmy disappeared on me most of last night. Horrible....I had no lap to snuggle on, no one to bug, no one to wait on me.....

It is better today. Meowmy stayed at home late in the morning and let me play outside. It was nice, and I had a good time. I am sleepy now, though. Tomorrow, she says she has to go chase green papers, so I will be able to sleep in. She brought back the DOG today, but he is sleepy too. We are all enjoying getting back to normal.

That's good......nothing more upsetting than a huge change in our routine. I guess hoping the dog wouldn't return was too much to hope for huh?

Gray Kitty and I caught a BUNNY. My meowmy was very bad and took it away. We went looking for it, but it was gone. Bad meowmy!

(I let the bunny go in some day lilies, and it hopped into a safe place under the well house.)

Poor guy had the fright of his life. You're Meowmy was very kind. Meowmy.

I haven't seen the bunny since. We went out for a little while. It was too hot to hunt. I spent my time under the dogwood bush. When meowmy opened the door, I ran inside. I can hunt Auntie Fiffur's schmousies inside.

Bunnies are smart. It's storming here so Antonio is hiding.

Today I did not go outside. It was storming, and I decided to stay on the giant cat bed. The DOG was hiding next to the bed as if I would save him.

We made it through. I got to go outside today and enjoy the sunshine. It was not too hot, so I played a little. I climbed my tree and played on the little barn roof.

Sounds like fun! Glad you got out while the weather was nice.

My meowmy says I was very naughty last night. I went outside in the afternoon, and I had so much fun I didn't want to come inside. I stayed out almost until meowmy and caddy went to bed. My meowmy said that I was supposed to take my meds. I don't like them, so I don't know why I was naughty for having fun instead of taking meds.

Silly Kitteh Boy if you don't take your meds you will stop moving and that will make your Meowmy and Caddy very sad.

Those meds keep you healthy so you can go out and have fun. Not taking them worries your meowmy and caddy a great deal.

My fellow kitties, I say it's too hot to play outside. I went out for a little while, and then asked my caddy to let me in. GK tells me it is supposed to get hotter, but I will not be going outside to find out.

Yesterday was beautiful, and my meowmy let me stay out very late. I am very sleepy today because I was up past my bedtime. Today, I plan to go outside for a while, and also take a lot of naps.

It was very nice outside. The windows are open, and I spent all day watching birds. When Meowmy and Caddy came home, I got to play outside. I hunted some bugs while Meowmy rode the big horse.

It was another pretty day here. I got outside time, but I was ready to come inside when Meowmy got home. She was late from work, and I was tired from playing. I will be sleeping on the giant cat bed tonight.

Did you get a nice sleep in the giant cat bed last night? My meowmy wakes me up sometimes, tossing and turning, and stealing the nice warm blanket out from under me.
