Mouski Adventures

I am feeling much betters. I had a very tough week before though. I went from having a messy bottom to gakking and not wanting to eat. I was doing very poorly. My meowmy brought me to the doctor four times! I had blood work done and lots of tries at different things. Finally, the doctor gave me a shot to settle my tummy and some stuff that gets put inside my ear to make me hungry.

Guess what?! I am better! No more gakking and no more messy bottom. My meowmy needs to call Dr. Robb tomorrow to report progress and they will come up with a plan to keep me feeling good. I am happy now for eating and that I got to try lots of new, yummy foods.

Oh no Mouski. I hope you stay better. It is no fun having a sick cat and no fun being a sick cat.

I am still better. I get stuff in my ear after my morning pill. It makes me very hungry. I am almost back to my full size. My meowmy hopes I do not get chubby. I, on the other hand, would love to be chubby. MOL

Arwen was a little chubby in the middle. Lorien was big without being chubby. It's possible to be beyond chubby.

My brother, Gateway, was very chubby at one point. He weighed 16 pounds! I am supposed to be between 12 and 13. My meowmy says she will weigh us after CrispMouse is over. Right now, she says, everyone is chubby and we are not paying attention.

Jack was about 18 pounds. He had the body frame to support the weight though.

I am not getting the hungry medicine in my ear now. Since I am eating well, my meowmy says I do not need it. I just started without it today, so she is watching to be sure I keep eating. I am back to my right size, so she doesn't want to keep me hungry if my body is doing that on its own.

Happy Mew Year, friends. We have resolved to nap and nom for 2024. I hope you have the same resolutions.

I found that I am allergic to salmon, which is very sad. I love to eat salmon. But it makes me very itchy so I cannot eat it anymore. My meowmy says that I can have other fishies though. That is a small good thing.

Mouski, do you like tuna? We had cats in the past that loved tuna juice. Whenever my mom made tuna salad, she had to divide the tuna juice in different containers for each cat. Lorien somehow figured out when my mom was in the process of making tuna salad before the tuna cans were opened.

I love tuna and my meowmy found some foods that have it in them. She also found some with other fishies I can eat. I pretty much like all fishies!

My meowmy is doing something called school. It makes her very busy at night and she does not sit in her usual place. I have been sleeping on the back of her chair because she is not in it so I can snuggle. She says she will be done when it is warmer, but I don't like to snuggle when it's too warm. She is a trouble maker!

Oh no Mouskie!! I hope you still get some time with your meowmy.

She calls me her study buddy. I sit next to her seat and help her.

I wish she knew what she was doing, but sometimes she is so silly. She likes to lift me and tell me silly things like how I'm the Mussa Mousa. How embarrassing!

All the silly things hoomans say to us. My caddy told Tortie silly things while she was with us. He even tells me silly things too.

They make me meow/laugh. I have to give the insulted look and then go and make up because she acts like I hurt her feelings.

I cry when I demand attention and I usually get. I usually cry to my favorite hooman. She tries to be good at giving me what I want. She is fine with me telling her sad stories after she gets home after she chases green paper.

Does she tell you sad stories in return? Chasing green papers is sometimes full of sad stories. My meowmy tells me sometimes and I roll my eyes.

She does tell me sad stories. I cry when I think she is ignoring me while she tells me sad stories.

I tell mine stories when she goes to the giant cat bed. She gets under the covers and I start telling her about how tough it is to be a kitty here. You know... I have to go up and down the stairs sometimes. Occasionally I have to travel in the mobile jail. It is really hard!
