I agree that he's incredible, a one-of-a-lifetime kind of kitty.

Got a greeting at the door that was surprising.........he was mewing really loud at mom and I when we got back from the docs office and pharmacy. He was all over her, checking her over, making sure she was okay. Doc put her on antibiotics and we'd eaten at Beefaroo on the way home (we had some really great coupons). Bijoux didn't know that so he was insisting she eat something, and couldn't understand why she didn't. Even grabbed her by the hand and tried to lead her to the kitchen. He asked me if I was going to eat too; finally he gave up and ate some crunchies by himself. Bijoux really is a social eater, he prefers to eat when we do. Mom got quite the talking to off/on because she was sitting at the table for longer than he deemed acceptable. He got up on the couch, sat in the middle, and just gave her The Stare. Hint taken..........she laid down. He came and snuggled with me a little bit, then went for more crunchies. Just then mom turned on the massager and here comes Bijoux at a full-out run...........to join her. He practically flew to share the massaging with her. LOL When 9:30 came around he realized it was past dinnertime, and gave us a short, intense show. Much singing as it warmed up, ate, and thanked mom for it. I got a few kisses in passing, so I shouldn't feel left out. I got several kisses before telling him nitenite (he quits kissing if he knows I'm leaving) and he didn't budge from mom to get them either.

Boy, is Bijoux perplexed. Mom is feeling better already and he can't understand why mom suddenly won't listen to Dr Bijoux's orders for more rest. I got a nice greeting at the door, then he mewed at mom to lay down. When she wouldn't he mewed at me to get her to lay down. Just couldn't understand why she didn't, but seemed happy enough to see her eating without being ordered to. I got a lil help eating my cheesy chicken n noodles but Bij didn't ask mom for any at all. Guess he figures she needs all the nutrition she can get right now. He zipped all over the place playing with a schmouse, even hitting mom with it at one point. It was good to see him playing like his old self. When mom did lay down and turn on the massager he flew over to her, laid down for a moment, realized the heating part wasn't on, and left her. I got several kisses and an escort to the door. Mom said last night he lay with her until she fell asleep, then tried to sneak away (which woke her up), several times. What a lil sweetie, tucking mom into bed before heading off to do whatever.

Definitely a bit confused, yesterday he mewed at me from the doorway because mom was in the bathroom for what he deemed to be too long. I told him he could go check on her himself, but I was sure she was okay. Got all zippy when she came back to the livingroom.

Got a nice greeting about 10 minutes after I got in, he was actually napping on the bed instead of glued to mom. He seemed a bit happier that she's feeling better, but still wants a lot of snuggle time and hold-me time. Guess he still feels she needs kitty healing vibes and cuddles to get better still. I did get some cuddletime and kisses, but mom got more. He sure seemed happy enough when she ate something without him having to bug her to, and he got to eat his crunchies with us also eating with him. A nice leisurely bath on my lap and it was bug-mom-to-hold-me at the table time. You can see him giving her the big-as-saucer kitty eyes to get her to do that. Cute as can be. Begged her to go lie down, stayed with her a few minutes until she fell asleep, then managed to leave without waking her to come see me. Got nice lap naptime with Bij, purring himself to sleep. Wetfood Revue was very intense, and a bit early, but all this nursing the sick works up a kitty's appetite a lot. Nice burp and a thankyou kiss, a quick bath, and off to the cuddlebed for a nap. Got a nitenite kiss from Bij this time.

Got a nice greeting from Bijoux at the door, and a short cuddle too. Up on the walker to ask for a ride (not now). Then it was off to check on mom at the table, and ask her for crunchies. I got them for him, and we ate too so all three of us were munching and crunching. Bij finished up first and had to 'help' me eat my Valentine's dinner of steak and corn. Didn't ask mom for any as she needs all the goodies she can get according to Bijoux. Bugged her to lay down afterwards, and cuddled with her a bit. Up on the walker again to ask for a ride (not yet). Then about every half hour he was checking on her to make sure she was okay. Asked for treats, hugs, cuddles, and lots of reassurance she was okay. I was mostly ignored for the evening. Bij did play a bit with a rubber ball and had it really going! Literally bouncing off the walls.............. Wetfood Revue started early and he ramped up the encores until he got his dinner at 8:30. Ate like we never feed him, went to mom for burping and thankyous. Up on the walker again...........mom said when the show was over (in about 10 minutes). When the credits rolled up on the walker again and mew..........he really wanted to go for a ride! Mom and Bijoux escorted me as far as the community room, then got on the elevator to go for a walk upstairs. I managed to get a nitenite kiss before they left.

I made sure my meowmy took a nap too. Now that she's finally getting better, I don't want a relapse. I keep a very close eye on her yet....Bij

Last night I didn't get a greeting at the door, not even for 10 minutes after I sat down. Bij was napping in the cuddlebed and it was only after mom and I talked for a few minutes that he even lifted his head to take a peek. I said HI, sorry to disturb your nap. About 10 minutes after that he came to say hi and ask to be held a bit. Mom had kept him up nearly all night long, first she was hot, then she was cold, then hot again. Poor Bijoux couldn't get any sleep at all with her up and down all night. Talk about exhausted, he nearly fell asleep with his head on my shoulder. Asked for crunchies when he roused himself, ate some, then napped again in my lap for a long time. Woke up, escorted mom to the bathroom, insisted she lay down again (so he could lay on her), and proceeded to wash her face for her. Snuggled with her a while, and the Wetfood Revue started--early. What a show, pretending to be different kitties coming at you from all directions. Loud singing too, until mom finally caved in and gave it to him. I got a nice thankyou kiss and so did mom, before he headed off to the cuddlebed again to bathe. That's where he was when I kissed him nitenite.

Got a nice greeting from Bijoux as I walked in the door. Mom was already up and sitting at the table, so he was beside himself with trying to get her to lay down. Apparently he thought I'd come to do that. It wasn't long though before mom decided to lay down after giving him crunchies. I could hear him downing those like he hadn't eaten all day long. Apparently he hadn't eaten much as they'd slept most of the day away. **sigh** my mom the nightowl, keeping him up when he should be getting his beauty sleep. Nice long snuggle laying on my chest with Bij using my shoulder as a pillow. Sleep He was there so long he fell asleep, only when a loud commercial came on did he wake up and decide to snuggle with mom on her chest (that was a no-go), so back to me he comes for more snuggling. Rested, it was time to play! Balls and schmice were going everywhere, bouncing on the walls, off furniture, and a few went under the stove. I found a schmouse next to the food dish. I haven't been able to find his lil stuffed duck (remember that one?). I have no idea where he hid that. All that play worked up an appetite and the Wetfood Revue started. As usual, it was somewhat quiet as first but the volume kept going up until he finally grabbed mom by the wrist and bit down a bit too hard. OUCH! Only after he quieted down a bit did he finally get rewarded by an early dinner. I could hear him slurping and smacking clear into the livingroom, and his collar tag was dripping with water from his drink. Both of us got thankyou kisses and up onto the walker seat he goes, with a mew of Let's Go! Little sweetie got his ride to see me off.

He sure is, he can look out the window and see a lot of the snow is gone. He's also seeing the squirrels chase each other around, pairing off. Definitely spring fever, he wants to get out and about a lot these days.

At the door to greet me with a nice mew and hugs. Very Happy Also got some chest time in with my sweetie (he lays across my chest and purrs in my ear). I asked if he was cuddle-deprived and mom said yes, she hadn't let him lay on her chest like that (said his weight makes it hard for her to breathe) and hadn't been on the couch in hours. Poor baby, no wonder he laid on my chest for such a long time. Mom gave him some crunchies and off he goes to get a snack. As soon as she laid down, he was on her asking for treats. Then wanted to lay on her chest, but since she wouldn't let him he settled for laying across her knees instead and fell asleep. When that nap was over he was bouncing off the walls, running all over the place. Then he disappeared......and I found him on the walker seat. The show mom was watching wasn't quite over so after waiting a few minutes he went into the bedroom to sulk. As soon as the show was over, mom wanted to go get her mail so I called out "Wanna go for a ride?' and SHOOM! Bijoux flies to the walker and up onto the seat. I swear he was smiling. Sure seemed to enjoy that walker ride. We also took him upstairs to see Micki and Angel. He and Angel were looking at each other from about 10 ft away, no hissing, no growling, but Bij had his tail all poofed up. Silly boy. Wetfood Revue Show started shortly after we returned from the ride........boy did he carry on so. Mom finally caved in about 8:45, and we both got some thankyous in return. Swaggered over to his cuddlebed for a postdinner nap. I gave him his nitenite kiss and mom left to use the computer.

We had a good 5 days of springy weather, so I'd say yes, he has a touch of spring fever. It's turning colder like winter again today, with snow in the forecast. Bij was right at the door to greet me yesterday, all ready for a ride on the walker. hehehehehe Mom said not now, as we were ready for supper and had to go over to Brads. Boy did he miss us the past few weeks we've been sick! After the movie here's Bijoux again, singing for his supper, eating it, then asking for a ride on the walker seat again. Silly boy got a short ride to the mailbox and back. I managed to get my nitenite kiss before he knew I was leaving for the evening.

Gray Kitty was all splayed out in the sun today. He found his patch and rolled his belly to the sky. It was so cute! He wanted to gather up the warmth while it's here. It's getting cold now, so I think winter is coming back. Sigh... I was playing outside in a tee shirt, and tomorrow I'll need a coat.

Well, Bijoux noticed in a hurry the change in the weather. It's cold, windy, and gloomy so he's been a bit clingy again. At the door both nights to greet me, and then ask for a walker ride. Saturday we had to leave early for pizza at Brads, and Bij seemed surprised we were leaving. Singing for his supper when we got back, and passed around liberal kisses and cuddles afterwards. And a bit of zippiness to burn off those calories. Nice long walker ride to see me off Saturday night. Yesterday he got a bit of cuddling, then had to go hide from the vacuum (I was cleaning). Got supervised closely while dehairing his beds, then more snuggles between playtime with all the toys I found cleaning. Got another walker ride to see me off, and met some peoples in the hallway. Turned out they were the folks we adopted Bruno from so long ago, and they remembered him and us. After admiring Bijoux, they asked about Bruno. The guy seemed glad I was holding him when he crossed the bridge, and was very pleased to hear Bruno was the best dog I've ever had in my life. Bijoux gave me a nitenite kiss at the threshhold to the community room, and mom took him down the hall for a nice long ride. I have no doubt she got a lot of cuddles last night after that.

Thankfully it's still warm in the building so he isn't hibernating much. Got a nice greeting at the door, with a request for immediate pick me up cuddles. Chest time being rocked, then laptime. He fell asleep supervising my crocheting..............woke up hungry. Mewed at mom for crunchies, ate nearly all of them, and snuggled with mom a bit. Wetfood Revue started early (what else is new?) and he really turned up the volume this time. Got early dinner, and immediately asked for a walker ride. Bij seems to be in the mood to see something besides the same 4 walls lately. Maybe hoping to run into some more admirers in the hallway...........gave me a nice big burp before getting that walker ride, and a few scented kisses. Nice escort out of the building.

It was snuggle, snuggle, snuggle for Bijoux last night. He'd been snuggling all day with mom, left her to come greet me at the door, then snuggle with me a while. Got up to ask mom for crunchies, I got up to give them to him, he watched me from the footrest. Didn't go eat though, but zoomed off for some playtime with me. Hide n seek seems to be a popular game with him right now, and ambush the schmouse too. Then mom got some snuggles, then I did. After a short nap (after all, all that running around tires a guy out) the Wetfood Revue Show started.............what a show! Plenty of purrs, kisses, and practically run-by snuggles............and a nice loud song while dinner was being scooped. Bijoux sure loves new-can night..........we both got thankyou kisses and cuddles. And I not only got nitenite kisses but an escort to the apartment door.
