Happy New Year to everyone!

Hope everyone woke today to find a Happy 2013! It's colder here than it has been in a long time (13° this morning - a fitting temp for 2013), but at least it's nice and sunny. Wesley's filled the feeders to give the birds and Lyra's favorite squirrels a nice breakfast to welcome the new year.

Did you manage to stay up? The weather here is dull and dreary. Feels
colder than it actually is. Still all in all HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I always stay up to greet the new year! How about everyone else?

What a great beginning to 2013. I hope it holds true for all my friends and furfriends here. It's chilly and wet here, and we had a perfect New Year's day of lying around being lazy.

On the other thread I said I'd never make it to midnight, and I didn't but there was the New Year waiting for me this morning! I'd love to add "all bright and shiny" but I can't -- it was cold and dreary, like so many others had. But hey, it was there! I'm sure we'll have plenty of sunny days in 2013.

I tried to find the other thread, but can't seem to locate it. I was going to merge the two. Our New Year's Day was bright - but COLD.

Let's hope this new year is better for our peoples than the last one seemed to be. I want my peoples to relax and stop worrying so much........Bij

So was ours.......-4 windchill cold. I didn't make it to midnight either.....but I did wake up at midnight. Loads of sirens on the highway, makes me glad I don't go out for New Years anymore....too dangerous around here. Too many folks think they can drink themselves blind and still drive home.

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE FROZEN NORTH....again.
1 this morning, windchill -17 at 8am. We got down to -25 last night according to the weatherman and tonight will be just as cold. Same plans tonight as we had last year....movie and snuggles in a warm apartment.

Ouch, what a way to begin the New Year.

Happy 1st day of 2015! I hope we are all healthy and sound for the next year and beyond.
