I know what you mean. With Antonio it was fangs, with Bud it's a raspy, creaky hinge sound.

Lorien head butted and did a 180 when she wanted her back scratched. She also put her front paws on my knee and arched her back when wanted to smell my food. On top of that, she squawked.

Happy birthday, Junko! I turn 7 in October. I do not know what a senior is. Do you?

No. I have been told I'm a senior, but no one explained it to me.

I have been told I'm extra special too. How can Drama Queens not be special?

I am not sure what a drama queen is. My people say that I am the ultimate Aloof. I thought I was a floof, but the doctor says that is my brother. An Aloof must be a floof's sister.

I get very loud, vocal, and show off every day. I like to go over board on everything to make sure I get noticed. I have told I'm very demanding.

MOL! That is excellent! I talked last night and my meowmy was very surprised. I am usually very quiet because I want to surprise them.

My mama planted cat grass in a planter last week. I can see the grass from the front door since the planter is on the porch. I beg to be put on the table at the door so I can check on the progress of the grass.

Hoomans have a saying about being bored. "It's like watching grass grow." Don't they know doing that can be exciting?

I was allowed little bit grass from outside. Torie sassed to get some. She didn't get much. Grass is still growing outside.

My mama may not be surprised if I run outside to help myself to the grass since I can see it from the door.

It was rainy today, so I did not get to try grass. My meowmy did not want to go out and get wet. She ran right to the grass eater house to do things out there and did not play in the grass. Maybe I will get to try it tomorrow.

Jack went to the vet today. He has been eating, drinking, using the litter box etc. We couldn't tell how Jack was feeling. Tumor on his thyroid got bigger, maybe cancerous. One treatment option will cost in the thousands of dollars and he would have to be boarded at the animal hospital while getting treatment. We don't want to do the treatment. Jack is almost 18 and we had him longer than we should have. I want Jack to have rest of his days with us.

Yesterday at the vet, I got stabbed twice and blood stolen from me without my permission. My mama didn't come with me, but she was home I was released from the portable prison. She fed me and later gave me outdoor grass. Today, I greeted my mama at the door and she gave me and Tortie outdoor grass.

Oh Jack! That's not nice. Meanies stabbing you and stealing your bloods. They did that to me too when I was sick-y. I did fell better when I came home though.

I understand not going after a tumor in a senior pet. Bingo's cancer is being managed medically, but we are not trying any drastic treatments. The treatments are harder on them than the disease. Hugs during the journey. It's hard, but the pets are happy no matter what.

To make it worse, vet called about the blood draw last night and it turns out Jack has kidney failure. Now it's a tumor, weak heart and kidney failure. Jack probably had few heart attacks or strokes in the past year. Poor guy. Jack is about 18.
