Three little kittens

The same man who rescued Prudence called me today. One of the feral cats he's caring for disappeared, leaving 3 one week old kittens. Long story short, they're here today along with the rest of the crowd. They have their own crate, and are sleeping. They were fed before I picked them up, but I haven't gotten much formula into them yet. They'll go to school with me tomorrow. It's our last work day, so I'll have the chance to feed them several times. Tomorrow and Friday they'll get breakfast before school, brunch during my plan, lunch, and after school snacks, then their night feedings as needed. Whew.

Awwwww...........I can remember teeny tiny kits crying for milk, and all the tender loving care needed the rest of the time. Rest when you can gbste! It's tons of work and lost sleep but well worth it in the end. Pics please, when you can see straight enough to take some.

The little ones are drinking their formula well. I started feeding them on a velour pillow sham, and that is something they go for. They snuggle right up and scarf up their meals. I have to figure out a way to get a video of them nursing--their little ears twitch.

OMG, they are so adorable! My cuteometer melted. Those bottles bring back such memories for me......wish I could see video of those lil ears twitching while eating.

I can't figure out how to hold the camera still long enough to shoot video, but I'm working on it.

Got anyone who could help you with that? I can see video IF it's sent to my mom's email. Her building doesn't block youtube, facebook, etc. like the library does.

I'll see what I can figure out tomorrow. I need new pictures of Prudence as well. She is growing like a weed and eats kitten food out of a dish, although she insists on a couple of bottles each day.
