Re: BIJOUX
He really has been very sweet. Got a great greeting last night at the door. Mom and I went out to refill the feeders and guess who watched from the window? Another greeting at the door, dancing around wanting snuggles. Not too long though he wanted dinner and it was not only too early, but mom had the entire kitchen counter covered with dripdrying birdfeeders she washed up. As soon as she was done though I got him his dinner without being asked....to a nice loud chirp and trill, with tail shivers. Brief thankyou snuggle and off to the bedroom to nap it off. Guess mom was making too much noise and the lights were too bright for a proper nap. No nitenite kisses, I didn't have the heart to wake him for them.

Antonio doesn't do tail shivers not does he wave his plume. Boo used to wave hers like it was a flag.

Re: BIJOUX
Bij only does that when he's really excited. Got a wonderful greeting yesterday.....quiet mews, raised tail, prancing around. Went out to refill the feeder, and he watched me do it. Quick to snuggle up with me in my chair (mom was napping on the couch). About an hour later Bij decided it was time for mom's pills so he shook her awake. Literally put a paw on her shoulder and shook her, then mewed. So cute....and it worked. She woke up, asked what he wanted, and I spoke up and said it was time for her pills. Bij also wanted dinner but it was too early. Had to settle for crunchies instead. More snuggles for me, and bug mom at the table. Wanted her to lay down so he could lay on her. No go. Mom left for a while and I got him all to myself....but he sat mostly at the door waiting for her to come back. Dancing when she did....mewing for dinner. Still too early. I did get it for him on time though without being asked since mom had left yet again. He ALMOST bamboozled her into giving him dinner again, but she asked if I did and I said yes. Poor lil guy looked a tad guilty trying to get another dinner. But guilt doesn't last long.....and treats were asked for. Got a nice escort from the building. Guess Bij wanted to make sure I got home safely.

Re: BIJOUX
I know: breakfast, second breakfast, elevensies, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, second dinner.....but Bij expects us to eat with him. Imagine how fat we'd be if we did that.
Got a nice greeting at the door...mom was napping on the couch. Wonderful snuggles (I think the wet hair helped) and hairdressing treatment from Bij. His hot lil body sure felt good on my sore hands, a furry purry heating pad. But tummies must be filled from time to time and Bij wanted fresh crunchies, not the one hour old stale ones in his bowl. Mom shook a couple new pieces into the bowl and suddenly, the old ones are fresh again. Amazing huh? More snuggles for me, then onto mom as soon as she lay down on the couch so I lost my cuddlekitty. NO amount of begging would get him to come back to me, until.......dinnertime. Got the lovey treatment to con--er convince-- me that it was time to give him wetfood. Oh well, he got it...and no one got thanked for it. No escort or nitenite kisses either. **sigh**

My kitties are getting a light ration tomorrow because their crunches are ALMOST GONE! I work right next to PetSmart, so Tuesday is grocery day. They will get enough soft food to make up for it, but still... I feel like a bad mom.

Re: BIJOUX
Here's hoping the kitties don't know how to use the phone....
Bij was sweet to greet me at the door yesterday....I'd refilled the feeder and he watched me do that again so he knew I was coming in. Nice snuggles for a while until my hair dried, then bug mom at the table. She told him she was not laying down and to go bug someone else.....I got a glance. Asked him to come up, then had to go after him...pick him up...and rocked him. Got nice purrs and Bij kinda melted into me for a while. Wanted dinner early, way early....got crunchies instead. Bird watched for a while with Bij....got to watch two baby hummies do an aerial ballet in the yard. They are soooo cute! Two chippies, mom and baby, under the feeder cleaning up spilled seed. Got my lapkitty back for a lil while until mom lay down on the couch. But when Bijs' dinnertime alarm clock went off there was no stopping him. Both of us got the major lovey-dovey act! Of course he got a nice big dinner for it so it paid off. Short thankyou snuggle, and off to nap in the cuddlebed next to me so he could keep an eye on me. No nitenite kisses or escort home though.

Bij recommends beef and chicken.....seafood if you're in the mood for it.
Not only did I get a wonderful greeting (after I went to find him in the window) but nice snuggles too when the birds left. Guess Bij knew I was hurting from the rainy weather. The leaf of fresh industrial strength catnip I brought might've have something to do with that too. I got kisses, concerned looks, purrs, and a few gentle face pats too. Bij made sure to check on mom too, made sure she took her pills on time, ate dinner, and lay down on the couch to rest. He'd been busy supervising her all afternoon looking for a replacement bulb for her fluorescent fixture in the bathroom. Must be tiring work-supervising- since the lil guy nearly fell asleep on my lap.
Dinner show was interesting and varied, and dinner was served on time to great fanfare. A huge burp in passing, a short thankyou snuggle, and off to nap in the cuddlebed next to me for a while. Then off to the bedroom...guess the tv was too loud for him to properly nap in the livingroom with us.
No nitenite kisses for me as I didn't have the heart to wake him for them.

Antonio is now passed out on the chair next to the breakfast table. It has a throw on it that his Tia Helen from Australia made him.

The kitties are upset at the heat. Gateway went outside for a couple hours, and said that's enough. He's now crashed on his little scratchy thing. (It's his favorite sleep spot.)

Re: BIJOUX
Bij sleeps wherever he wants, which is all over the place. Yet he still has a good reputation. LOL
Yesterday he watched mom scare the squirrel with the airhorn....supervised us moving all the feeder poles around, installing baffles, and snubbed our watermelon in favor of his usual dinner. I got a very nice long thank you snuggle for giving him dinner without a song n dance routine required. Bij has been very sweet for me lately. Maybe he knows my hands were hurting after moving those poles and his bodyheat makes a very good heating pad for my hands. The massage I was giving him made it all the better for him too. I even got nitenite kisses!

Re: BIJOUX
Awwwww.......Gateway, keep sitting on your meowmy's lap, it makes her happy in a way that's hard to describe.
Bij gave me a great greeting at the door yesterday: mews, tail shivers, couldn't wait for me to pick him up and hug and kiss him Hello. What a sweetie...had to set him down to take the trash out (mom couldn't wait for me to finish my proper kitty greeting). So here's Bij giving me this look, and waiting for me to return to finish my hello greeting properly. Nice snuggles, purrs, and hair dressing treatment ala Bij. Then settle into the lap for a while, until he heard the call of his crunchies bowl. Off to watch the birds a bit (so far the new pole placement and baffles are working). More snuggles until Wetfood Revue Show time....which was short. Mom got him his dinner but I got the thankyou snuggle and huge burp in my ear. Tried to get comfy on the couch, changed his mind, and curled up in the cuddlebed next to my chair instead. Fell asleep watching me read. Got quite a few nitenite kisses when I asked for them. YES!

Re: BIJOUX
What a good boy, so helpful.....
Bij greeted me a the door, looking for snuggles. Picked him up, got huge purrs, kisses, and the melting kitty act. Mom had me take out the trash almost immediately and Bij was looking at me like "You're leaving already?" I made sure I wasn't gone long, and gave a huge fuss over Bij. He of course soaked up all the attention like it was his due. Got loads of kitty snuggles all evening long! I think he missed me. Even when mom laid on the couch Bij didn't leave me. I even got the polite request for dinner (new can night) and a huge thankyou snuggle afterwards. I even got loads of nitenite kisses with purrs!
It was definitely my night to have the kitty....

Aww! I'm sure it was great to have a little kitty warmer since your weather is cold. The weather here is turning, and the kitties are getting more snugly.
