Trina is being very calm about all the packing and other stuff going.

Is she being calm, or is she plotting? I know my kitties enjoy their time alone for a little while.

Oh no. She doesn't seem to adapt well to changes. Hopefully, she'll come around quickly.

No, she doesn't. Lou the sitter said she didn't see her the entire time. She knew she was there because she used the litter box. She came out about an hour after I got home. Checked out everything.

I think she has fully recovered. She's back to being blued to my side.

Right now she is curled up in the breakfast table. She's not supposed to be there.

But she missed you so much she can't stand NOT to be with you, no matter if you're at the table or not. Poor baby.

Re: Refugees in my bathroom
Maybe next time? Trina seems to take her time deciding if someone is okay or not. She'll come out in time for the sitter. Maybe she could visit when you're not going away, just to get Trina used to her being around? Seeing her with Antonio?

Trina goes into hiding when my best friend comes over and she's meet Sandra.

Re: Refugees in my bathroom
My friend's big kitty, Nose, is a hider. He's been here for almost a week, and I've only recently been able to talk to him. Last night he let me pet him for a little while, and I haven't seen him since. I think he's mad that I touched him.

Nose? How did he manage to get that name? It has got to be a very interesting story behind a name like that.

He is an Egyptian cat with a very Roman nose that has a gray spot right on top.

Speaking of spooky. Trina has gone back to her semi feral ways. Very worrisome.

Re: Refugees in my bathroom
I've had the front door open with the screen on the storm door up. She's also developed a weepy eye that she won't let me clean. Frustrating.

Re: Refugees in my bathroom
When Mouski gets the weepy eye, I put some "pink eye" drops in and it seems to help. My vet recommended it.

I have some of those. It's catching her to do it.
