Re: Refugees in my bathroom
Hi, Mouski. I'm going to an adoption even tomorrow. La Tia tried to put a comfort collar on me but I was having no part of it She didn't force the issue. I know she is worried, I can smell it on her. Antonio told me that when he was sent to THAT PLACE his former beings stank of shame. He says it was a really rank smell. He says La Tia just smells of worry and he's smelled it before and not to worry. Trina

Re: Refugees in my bathroom
Hi Trina. I've smelled that shame smell before. My first peoples put me in a bad, cold place and shut the door. I was all alone and could only remember the smell that they had when they did that.
Your Tia wants you to find a place where you can be the QUEEN. You will have sun spots, windows, and a nice lap to purr on. It is so great to rule your place, and girl kitties always rule. I only have brothers, but they tell me that girls are most important.
Try to have fun at your adoption. It is hard to be somewhere different, but if you peek out, you will find peoples who are like your Tia. They will hold you and pet you, and you can show them your white cat-ness.
We love you, Trina.

I didn't go. I escaped under the bed. I know La Tia was put out but all she did was call the Rescue. Trina

I believe you have plans that do not coordinate with your Tia's.

Hi Trina,
We had a great kitty day today. There were a bunch of sunny spots, and my meowmy had the cool air on. I got to sleep on the giant cat bed. Did you get to relax a little today? It sounds like your weekend was too exciting.

Hi Mouski.
Yes, I did. La Tia, Antonio and I napped this afternoon. Antonio had to go to the vet he wasn't pooping. He's having to stay overnight, it's lonely without him. Trina

Snuggle on your Tia real close. She will have the worry smell on her. You can help her get rid of that.

You probably need to snug on him too. His tummy was hurting.

Trina, are you having a nice Sunnyday? We don't have any sun, but I am purring anyway. It is a nice day.

Yes, we all hung out together and Meowmy. Don Antonio decided I should call Meowmy because La Tia is awkward. Trina

Re: Refugees in my bathroom
Trina went to an adoption even yesterday. We were an hour late but we made it. She did much better, she was in a crate right at the top. Also she was near the kittens, so people who stopped to look at the kittens would stop and look at her. She still wouldn't let go of the sweat shirt but at least she wasn't cowering under it. She did let people pet her without cringing and scrunching up her eyes.

Well done, Trina! See? It's not SO bad. I am glad you did better on your adventure. I hope your meowmy gave you extra treats when you got home.

She gave me treats and lots of cuddles later. When we first get home I go hide but she understands and lets me come out at my own pace.

That's good. I would have had to give her a MEOW if she didn't.

I'm glad you weren't too traumatized this time by your adventure. And that your meowmy is so understanding and lets you do things at your own pace.
