Right now we have the cat races. Both Trina and Drillbits likes to care their toy around. The both like the same toy and play soccer with it.

I bet that was fun to watch!
Great news on Trina purring. She's really starting to come around.

Mouski has been carrying one of his Auntie Fiffur's schmousies recently. He was doing that to the pink socks from the Mutts store. Now, it's schmousies.

Drillbit went to Cat Matcher's adoption center yesterday. It was hard on all of us. For me it was to see the look of fear and bewilderment in his eyes. He was adopted today and his new family posted some snaps of him in his new home. Drill seems to be content and doing well.

I saw some snaps that his new family posted and he seems to be settling in well.

Trina has made vast strides this weekend. She is letting me pet her and she is purring very softly. I still can't pick her up but she's getting there.

I bet Drillbit was bewildered......"I just got here and you're sending me away? Why?" He didn't understand you were temporary until his forever family showed up. But he will understand now. So glad he's doing well in his new home.
As for Trina, she has come a long way already but has a ways to go. Congrats on the petting and purring BTW. It will be harder to give her up when the time comes....for you and Antonio.

Hi,
My name is Trina. Don Antonio showed my how to use the computer. The Caretaker left it open. I am a foster cat and I came from a home with too many animals. I was terrified when I first came here. Now I am loving and affectionate. I need to scamper now the Caretaker is coming and Don Antonio says she gets suspicous when kitties use the computer. Trina

Welcome, Trina. I am so glad you found your foster home. Antonio is great and will teach you lots of stuff.

Thank you Gateway. It's wonderful here. Don Antonio says this is just a preview of what a forever home is like. Trina.

Re: Refugees in my bathroom
And a forever home is even better since you will never have to leave your peoples ever again. A foster home is nice, it lets you learn how to live the good life so you know what to expect later on. I am so glad to have my forever home and family after spending time in That Place. Living on the streets was no fun.

I don't think I ever lived on the streets or was in that place. Still I was in a home with too many cats and it was scary. I never got enough to eat because the mean cats would be beat me when I tried to eat. Now i have plenty of good food and I don't have to fight for it. Trina

I bet that was scary! You won't have to fight for food ever again, I promise. Your caretaker and your future family will always make sure your crunchies bowl is never empty. You won't have to fight to get loving attention again either.

Re: Refugees in my bathroom
Hi everyone. Trina here. The Caretaker is off doing things so Don Antonio and I are on the computer. She left it open. I've really come a long way from the terrified almost feral kitten that I was. It's amazing what love can do. I don't even mind being picked up anymore. MOL!! She is always picking me so she can sit down. Trina

Trina, that's great! I was like you when I first came here. Now, I like to sit on my meowmy. Tonight, I ran and jumped on her lap. Laps are nice and warm!
