Check out this homemade humane mousetrap. Very simple but effective! You can release Mr. Mouse outside after he's caught.....

Love it! I could use one, I think. I found a chewed up towel in a kitchen drawer. Yuck. Time for the kitties to do their job or I'll have to build a mouse trap. I wonder where I can find metal coat hangers. The ones I see for sale are all icky plastic in nauseating colors.

Try the dumpsters around a dry cleaners.....they might throw out the hangers they get back that are too bent to use. You won't need much wire to make one of those mousetraps. Or you could try any hospital/clinic....they get their lab coats cleaned somewhere and usually have a lot of wire hangers clogging up their employee space.
