I treat mine like a kitten. I tell him when he's naughty. I also will let him play with me if he does it the right way. But it must be the right way, otherwise I tell him off something special.

Right now, I am snugged up in my little sleep tree by the window. I like to watch the birds and squirrels. My brother scratches on the posts, but he knows better than to bother me. I will reach down and bop him right on the ears if he does.

Bud is dozing on the couch. We have a nest of barn swallows on the balcony. the eggs have hatched so we now have nestlings. Until they fledge and fly away he's not allowed on the balcony. Food Lady

Jack and Junko got along very well and they took care of each other. Occasionally Junko will sleep near the window in one of the pieces of cat furniture.

The windows are open today, and I am sleeping in my little tree by the living room windows. My meowmy says the windows will close tomorrow. I will be disappointed, but she says she doesn't want me to get hot.

Same here. But we furry kids need the cool airs. I have been sleeping on my tree where I can feel them better.

Bud normally hangs out under the vent in the bathroom. We have a new flatmate, so he has been temporarily evicted. Food Lady

Right now, the windows are open, although my meowmy says they will be closed for the night. It's supposed to get chilly. Hard to believe with as hot as it was yesterday. We like having the windows open.

It's hot here. I have been lying in the window, but it's right under the cool airs. I like watching the squirrels and laughing because they have to be outside where it's hot. I am inside and comfortable. I wish I could hunt them, but I don't really want to go outside to do it. I wonder if my meowmy could bring one inside.

It's hot here to. I don't think your Meowmy will do that. Will make a mess of the house. Food Lady

MOL It probably would. I have my blue stuffed mouse. I like to hunt it too. Yesterday, it was hiding in the closet and I was trying to get in to attack it. My meowmy had to help me. Even though I have thumbs, I cannot open doors.

It's been hot here too. My hooman tends to be tired when she comes home from chasing green papers. Once in a while she mentions the heat makes her more tired. I like licking cheese puffs and I can't open the bag with my thumbs. My hooman opens the bag and holds the cheese puffs for me.

I'm barely venturing out at all. Bud rarely goes to the balcony, Miles will come out of his den to lie in the breeze from the ceiling fan.

During the week, I go to and from work. Once I get home from work, that's it. At least I don't work in the heat.
