Re: Mouski Adventures
I cry when I get put in the mobile jail. I know my hoomans love me. My late night cries keep my favorite hooman awake. She keeps getting out of bed to answer my cries. Sometimes I beg for belly rubs.

Re: Mouski Adventures
My meowmy is a little worried about me today. I normally am very cooperative about taking my pills. Today, I acted like my mouth hurts. She wonders if my teeth are okay. She says I have to go see Dr. Rob (EEEK) so he will look at them. I am not letting her open my mouth. No. It's time to sharpen my murder mittens.

Mouski, it sounds like you know how to use your murder mittens. Tortie kept her murder mittens sharp by using the scratching pad.

Can you believe that we need to go to the DOCTOR? My meowmy says it's time for our check ups, so we get to go in a couple weeks. She is going to ask about something called allergies. I am still very itchy.

I hope something can be done to relieve the itching. Allergies are not fun.

Definitely! I'm suffering from the tree pollen, so I completely sympathize. The vet recommended some wipes rather than medications because of Mouski's heart condition. They really do seem to be helping. We also increased his Vitamin B shots to every other week. He is feeling much better. I am relieved, and I think Winnie is too.

I hope wipes continue to help Mouski.

I feel so much betters! I am not itchy and I am eating just right. My meowmy thinks it is a combination of the wipes (which I do not like very much), the shots (which I do not like at all), and the vitamin treats (which I love).

We have to go to the DOCTOR. My sister and I say that it is positively unfair and we will not tolerate this kind of mistreatment. They are going to stick us with sharp things. I protest!

Friends, it was not bad at all. Dr. Rob says I am doing very well. My skins, furs, and tummy are all very much betters. I was not scared because I know Dr. Rob and his assistant. They are very nice to me. My sister was scared, but I told her it would be okay. She was not happy but she was not mean. She gets mean when she is very scared. She is doing very well too, which is good because she would have been mean if they had to do something to her.

That sounds like a recipe for murder mitts to come out. I'm glad things went well.

No murder mitts right now. My meowmy is wondering if she can trim my claws to make mine less sharp. I say NO.

I would think trimming claws at home can be tricky. I know trimming claws to short is not good.

Re: Mouski Adventures
I only had one cat who agreed to have claws trimmed. I know Winnie is funny about her polydactyl feet. I need to make an appointment for her. I don't know what the vets do to make it happen so easily, but it's quick and done right. I'm willing to pay them for that!

Re: Mouski Adventures
We never had a cat that was polydactyl. I know it's genetic. Arwen curled end of her tail when she came to me or had me in tow to the food dish. Junko curls her tail when she greets me and quality time.

Winnie is a Chimera cat too. She's a tortie and her face has a distinct line down the middle with black on one side and orange on the other. She has a brown spot in her green eyes. She's a really interesting girl.

Tortie was pretty for a tortoiseshell. She had a good stare.

Winnie has that stare, I think. The one that can throw knives through your body. Mouski has the beautiful blue-eyed stare. His is much more gentle. He is a more gentle cat overall.

Tortie's stare could kill. She used it on my dad. He obeyed it too.

I have felt that stare! Even the dog knows to beware.
