Oops. Razorbill is the name of the Press. the book is Vampire Academy and it is the first in a series of teenage vampire stories set at a school in Montana. I finished it and am now reading Lord Of Misrule by Rachel Caine which is book 5 in another teen vampire series Morganville Vampires. It's a library castoff

reading A Lonestar Christmas by William W Johnstone. a traditional western. Apparently he wrote alot of em before his death. I haven't read any of the others though he has whole series.
I used to read alot of westerns, read most of Louis L'Amour and all of JT Edson's books

Reading The Other Boleyn Girl. It's written from the point of view of Mary Boleyn, different than the movie adaptation.

It's a thick book, over 700 pages. I'm about 1/2 way through it. Lovekitties, could you get me a list of the titles for those other books? They sound kinda interesting, I might be able to borrow them from the library for summer reading.

they are mostly novels having to do with those times. and as they are mostly 40 years old I wouldn't know if they were still in print. If you google around I'm sure you can find some books, or check with your library.
You might want to check if they have the novelization of The Tudors which was on TV

Didn't find any novelizations for that series, but I could borrow the tv series sets themselves if I'm willing to wait for them. There's quite a long waiting list for them at the moment.

finished No Place for a Lady, read a hardy boys book, read a nother quicky romance
and am now reading Rebel Enchantress by Leigh Greenwood . It's a Historical romance which takes place right after the American Revolution during the time of Shay's Rebellion (something which was NOT covered when I took American History in High School) I was suurprised to find out that leigh Greenwood is a Man. it's not usual for a man to write romances. He was even the president of the Romance Writers of America at one time

I can believe that LK. Shay's Rebellion or the Whiskey Rebellion was a serious threat to the newly
formed central government and almost stopped it before it really got started.

not only that, but the Constitution was written because of it, but they never touched the subject, that I can remember, in school
