Please do. Where was this mass? I'm glad it sounds like recovery is going smoothly.

It was in the underneath side and near her back legs. It could have been cancer and my parents didn't want to shell out $200 to get a biopsy. We hope they got it all. Lorien has done some things that she hadn't done for months and she is jumping better.

She never bothered the stitches, which is a good thing.

Lorien got stitches out last Friday. She definitely has thanked us multiple times for the surgery.

I think she knows that surgery was necessary and that's why she feels so much better. Got that uckiness out of her. Just hope it doesn't come back. **keeping fingers crossed**

Junko turned two this past Monday. I know I haven't been here much lately, since I got a job and cut back the time I spend on the computer.

Happy birthday, Junko! You'll have to tell Mouski how it feels to be two. He turns two later this year.
Congratulations on the job. How exciting! Tell us about it when you get some time.

Re: Junko, calico kitten
I know I have been neglecting this forum. I have cut back on the amount of time I spend on the computer, which is of my own choosing. It's full time and I qualified for company health insurance after 60 days on the job. Of course, I took the company's health insurance. The place deals with processing mail from different companies. I don't know how much of it is medical related. One area prints the mail and sends it to the back area to be put into machines to be folded and inserted into window envelopes. Then the mail is taken to the front, which is where I work, to be run through a different machine that will process the mail and prints barcode on the bottom of each envelope. The machine will send each envelope to the proper bin for someone to fan through the stack of envelopes from each bin to make sure there is a complete
barcode on each envelope. From there, the mail goes into the plastic USPS trays and then eventually be sent out to go who knows where. The place has a federal contract to do federal mail.

Wow! I didn't know that so much went into sending out mail. Cool!

Glad you checked in and that's wonderful about the job. Even better that the job has health insurance.

Re: Junko, calico kitten
I'm fine. So are the cats. Junko has been a very good alarm clock since I started my job in January. It will get more busy at work. I have to start 10 hour work days next Tuesday and that will last through the end of the year. I fear that soon we will be getting a crap load of federal mail that, in theory, may take that long to processes. Junko may end up start giving me wake up calls earlier than what she has been doing so far.

Oye! Early... It doesn't bother kitties who can go right back to sleep after breakfast, but people??? Sigh.

I third that emotion. So does my mom, who has a very reliable furry alarm clock whether she wants to get up or not.

Rohan had to be put down this morning. She was getting worse all this week. She was at least 15.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. 15 is a good old age, but that doesn't making losing a friend easier.
