13 pounds is a lot of hugs and love. Junko will miss Jack on Friday. Jack will be going in to get teeth cleaned. Both don't know it yet. I get to pay Jack's bail when he gets picked up near the end of the day.

In addition to teeth cleaning, four teeth got pulled. He has been home almost an hour. He is still groggy. Junko was looking around the house for him all day. She glad to see glad and is avoiding him since he doesn't smell like himself.

Poor guy. Will he need to eat soft food for a while?

I haven't completely gone away. Some days at work makes me mentally worn out. My parents got rid of the Christmas tree and got a new one few months ago. We will see what Junko does with it once it comes out of the box. It's a smaller tree than the last one.

What's a Crispmouse tree? We may have them but I'm not sure. Antonio

We do not have trees in our house. Mouski would destroy them. We do have a tiny Charlie Brown one that lives on top of the fish tank, and he seems not to notice it. LOL
Take pix of the new tree and let us know what Junko thinks.

Antontio, a Crispmouse tree is a tree that beans can put objects on it like ornaments, fake snow, garlands etc for this time of year. Â There are beans that prefer a real Crispmouse tree while other beans prefer a fake tree. I do plan on taking pictures of Junko checking it out.

Our Crispmouse tree is outside. I put some lights on it, but the kitties can't get to it. I think they're disappointed.

I don't know if my Lori will put one up, she didn't last year but she was still unpacking. I checked out the one in the lobby though.

Re: Junko, calico kitten
*&$@ taxes showed up at work in December and ended up working 54 hour weeks for almost month and a half. That's including Saturdays. Overtime is over and taxes haven't been brought in for a week. My dad put the new tree up without me. I didn't get to see Junko's reaction to it. She didn't climb it this year since the tree is narrower and the limbs most likely not that strong either compared to previous trees. She did manage to get halfway up once and didn't get a picture of it. Basically, there wasn't photo opportunities. I think I did take a few pictures of Junko under the tree.

Oh no. Boo taxes. But, it's good to hear about the little girl's adventure with the new tree even if we don't get pictures. How is she doing now that it's not tree season? My cats are ready for the bird invasions. They are spending the days looking out the windows when they aren't napping. We have a few intrepid chickadees that hop on the sills just to tease the cats.

Taxes.......boo hiss.
I am glad Junko had some fun with the new tree. I can imagine it in my head and it's soooo cute. Maybe next year we'll have some pics.
The kitties in my building, including Bijoux, are waiting and watching for the bird invasions too.

The kitties here are camping all day in the windows. We haven't opened them yet, but they know something's up at the feeders.

Bij has been camping in the window too, watching for birds and recharging his solar battery.

Re: Junko, calico kitten
I thought I had pictures of Junko near the Christmas tree on my computer, only to realize I haven't transferred pictures from my camera to my computer. I know I haven't been visiting a lot. Some days I feel bad for not visiting more. Some days I don't feel like it when I get home from work, especially if it was a rough day. On weekends, I hang out with a co worker that I have gotten to be good friends with.

It's great that you have a friend at work. Makes the rough days a bit better. We're here when you want to visit. And, the pix of Junko near the tree will be even cooler when it ISN'T Christmas time.
