Junko, calico kitten

We knew she be a keeper on the day she was born.

Junko likes to run and jump into the chair before my dad gets near it.

I thought someone my need a smile. Sometimes she will get in the chair when my dad has taken two steps away from the chair.

A box and sun puddles best way to spend the day.

Junko supervised the tree decorating as well. She tried a few times to climb the tree.

Does she supervise taking the tree down too? My cats used to demand to help with that. I think it was an excuse for one last decoration attack.

She has supervised the tree being taken down. She didn't like it yesterday when my dad took the tree down. Junko got in the tree box and gave dirty looks.

If you look hard enough, you can see a mouse near the end of the curtain rod. It was one of the mice that got in the house from the garage.

Junko was on the ball to keep tabs on the mouse. She did get it in the end and my dad grabbed the mouse.

She is doing what comes natural when it comes to finding mice.

For some reason, she had to get in the box that the Christmas tree goes back into.

Well of course, Antonio doesn't do boxes but he loves my shopping bag.

Bold little rodent! Good girl, Junko. Isn't it fun to hunt. It's kind of sad that your hooman took your prize, but they can be bad for you to eat. Sometimes they can make you sick. Keep up the good hunting!

And... The pictures of her in the box and under the tree are fantastic. It's like she knows she's the absolute best present.

Another mouse got brought into the house during the night and is still roaming alive inside. Junko has been on patrol when she is up to it.

All I could do was throw back my head and laugh long and loud. Antonio was not amused, I woke him up.

She'll find it - probably in the middle of the night so she can wake everyone up. That's how kitties roll!
