I still haven't been to see my Lori's new home. I want to be sure it smells like me and other kitties know that house and everything in it is claimed.

I have too much stuff around he could get hurt on yet for him to visit just yet. I know he'll get lost in here there's so much room compared to the apartment.

He'll have a blast. I'd put up some blocks for rooms you don't want him in and let him explore bit by bit.

Bij, you will get to visit. I'm sure. Your Lori wants to make sure it is safe and nice when you come. I hope you've been able to give her headbuts sometimes when she visits.

I gave her some and good snuggles too last night. She actually stayed for a while and massaged me, kissed me, loved on me a lot! But when meowmy came in I just simply had to go give her all my love....I know she isn't feeling well lately. My loving vibes don't seem to be having the expected healing effect on her as I want though.

Keep up your nursing, Bij. Your meowmy has some serious things going on, but kitty healing is always good. She will get better faster because of your care.

She actually leaves the apartment to get a break from my loving attentions! How insulting! At least my Lori isn't like that, she soaks up my love and asks for more and is more than willing to return the favor.

My Lori came over last night smelling of DOG! How could she betray me like that? After a 4th degree sniff and giving her THAT look, she apologized and fussed over me. That was much better, I am the center of the universe and she should know that already.

Bij, your Lori was ATTACKED by a snuggle dog. She didn't try to go behind your back. That dog jumped on her and snuggled her to the ground.

I see.....at least last night she didn't smell of anyone except Brian. I've met him, he's nice to me but says he's allergic. I gave my Lori lots of cuddles and meowmy too so she wouldn't get jealous. I even escorted her to the lobby door and watched her drive off. I wish I knew where she was going...I thought she was going home to her apartment and tried to go that direction but meowmy stopped me.

I think your Lori will be ready for you to visit her new house soon, Bij. I know she has been working very hard to get it all fixed up. You will like it so much when you see it.

I hope she's ready for me soon......I don't know how much longer I'll be on this side of the bridge. I am so sleepy all the time, my mind wanders, I forget to eat sometimes. I know my meowmy and my Lori are worried about me, I am sooo thin. Quite unlike when I was a fat and sassy kitten.

Bijoux is now literally not much more than fur over bones he's so thin. He eats when we encourage him, but sometimes he asks for food, doesn't eat much, then goes to sleep. He sleeps so soundly he doesn't hear us come or go from the room. I am worried about him. Goes to the vet next month so I'm insisting mom get him a very thorough check up, just to make sure he's still okay.

It's so hard to watch them go downhill. GK is the same. He is very thin, his fur isn't as shiny and soft as it used to be, and he's so slow/sleepy. He had a good checkup, and the vet said that his kidneys are slowing down, but his levels are still good. It's an old cat thing.

Bij, hang on if you can. You will be happy to see the new home. If you cannot, Gateway and Archimedes and Chirp will show you all the fun things at the Bridge and you can watch your Lori all the time.

So far Bij's fur is still shiny, soft, and somewhat thick. He's just so thin and so finicky about what he'll eat anymore. we went shopping yesterday at 3 different places to find food that was low enough in protein not to overtax his old kidneys yet high calorie since he needs calories so badly. we can only hope he'll like them enough to actually eat.
Last night he almost didn't eat until I asked him to please eat and sat there next to him while he did. He finished it all up so of course lots of praise, cuddles, and being told he was a good boy and precious.

Is he allowed to eat pork fat (like trimmings from ham, pork chops, or maybe skimmed bacon grease)? My parents had an older cat who had to limit protein for the same reason as Bij, but he still loved bacon fat. They would give him a dab with his food. I bet it helped with hairballs too.

It's so cold here, gloomy, icky, no birds to watch, meowmy is feeling puny, my Lori is busy doing something called construction and unpacking. Her arm is hurt, meowmys' leg is hurt, I'm tired a lot these days. I got cuddles, hugs, kisses, and multiple dinners from both of them though! Have I got them trained or what?
