Re: more Gateway adventures
Gateway's inner kitten is coming out. He has been pouncing and playing a lot. I think Mouski is really good for him. I hope they continue to play after Bingo arrives. All the activity is good because I got the reminder to make the cardiologist appointment yesterday. We'll be making our annual trip to Richmond in either January or February. (We need to check another hay purchase to make sure we'll have money for the big visit.)

OOoooo, let us know what Gateway's inner kitten thinks of Bingo. You might get a LOT more activity in the house, day and night.

security.

I can hardly wait for Bingo to come home....so we can find out what everybody else ie: kitties/horses think of him.

Re: more Gateway adventures
Gateway made an appearance today with the dog in the same room. He seems more annoyed than anything. Definitely not frightened any more. Gray Kitty is sitting on my lap with Bingo at my feet. PROGRESS! Â

We're at the hissing phase. Bingo wants to play, and the kitties don't understand. They hiss and hide under the bed. He gets down on his elbows and wags to play. I think they're trying to learn each other's language.

OMG, how cute. I remember that posture. Hope the kitties figure out that means he wants to play nicely.
I'm sure the hisses will eventually give way to some sort of acceptance.

Re: more Gateway adventures
Gateway has made it out and past the sleeping dog. He went and got a drink while Bingo was asleep in the living room. That is progress. I hope he and GK learn how to read doggy body language. I think they will. They are smart kitties.

Re: more Gateway adventures
I'm sure they will.....easier for them than Bingo to try to learn kitty body language.

Re: more Gateway adventures
Gateway ate his breakfast in the same room as Bingo and Mouski. So, we definitely have progress.

Re: more Gateway adventures
Another breakfast with Bingo. Gateway decided to leave when Mouski pushed him out of his bowl, so I picked up both cat and bowl and brought them into the bedroom. Bingo ate the last few bites of Mouski's food while he (Mouski) was trying to be a piggy. I told him he should finish his own or he's offering it to the dog. I guarded Gateway and GK while they ate to make sure their little brother didn't come to push them out of their breakfasts. Silly kitten!

Yes, they are. Still you have to remember if it's in someone else bowl it has to
taste better.

Re: more Gateway adventures
Of course.....Bij thinks anything on our plates or bowls is infinitely better than the same exact thing on his plate. Mouski is just being like Bij....what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine too.

Re: more Gateway adventures
When I woke up this morning, Gateway was coming through the room where Bingo was sleeping. I'm not sure if he was sniffing around or coming back from getting a drink out of his fountain bowl. He has food and water upstairs (since Bingo doesn't go up there), but he does love his fountain bowl.

Re: more Gateway adventures
Maybe that will give him some incentive to start accepting Bingo as part of the family. Does Bingo use that fountain bowl too?
